why has campbell fallen so far? and can he play right tackle?
Teams are mistaking him for Jason Campbell.
So if Bruce Campbell falls to us in the 4th round, do we take him?
I think we have to. He gives us good value and will be motivated by all of the teams that passed on him earlier. If we get him, it's a good chance he's our opening day RT
hells to the f'n yes dude...SOLID!

a workout warrior, some had him projected in the friggin first round!
apparently all of this is what's holding him back
"It's the mental that will get him," said one personnel director who has been in interviews with Campbell. "When he's talking he's not a quick thinker. He's a slow process, a very slow process guy. Somebody will have to tell him what to do all the time."

Another evaluator said Campbell had a "neurological slowness that's extremely scary."

At the combine, Campbell said he grew up in the "ghettos" of New Haven, Conn. After spending 2006 at Hargrave (Va.) Military Academy, he was able to enroll at Maryland.

The Terps' coaching staff took its time with Campbell, playing him in just five games in 2007 and starting him only after another player was injured in mid-2008.

Campbell's incredible workout was the talk of the combine. One scout, however, labeled that as "inconsequential" when compared to what he described as Campbell's "awful" play on tape and the 15-minute interviews he did with team after team in Indianapolis.

"He might be the most phenomenal physical specimen I've ever seen," one longtime scout said. "But he can't conceptualize."
If we can grab Joe McKnight in the 4th, I think we'd have that explosive game-changer in the backfield.

I keep waiting for his name to pop up but hoping he drops to us.

I wouldn't mind that move.. I mean having Portis, Parker, AND Johnson.. not to mention Alridge seems like we're set at RB, but youth aside from Alridge and Torain would be okay.. not expecting it but who knows.. pretty much guaranteed a roster spot if we pick him though

Notice the disappointment on his face. Nobody wants to go to Cleveland/Oakland/Detroit.

Drafting a RB would be moronic. We need another lineman or two and a LB. RB would be a waste.
Are you saying to trade AH for a 5th or later?
Lol. Hopefully Shanahan's comments will finally shut up Andy Polin and the delusional fans who honestly believe the Redskins would be better off without Haynesworth.

I cannot remember a player who has produced more ridiculous trade scenarios.

Let's think about players the Redskins gave a 3rd rounder (or more) for:

A washed up Mark Brunell
A worthless/misused Brandon Lloyd
TJ "Mr. Inactive" Duckett

And people who claim to follow football closely really think it is a good move to dump "the most dominating player in the league" (voted by the players) for a third rounder or lower?

Let me make this final point. People floated an idea that Chris Cooley could get a first or second. Albert Haynesworth is so much better than Cooley it is pathetic. Albert may not have a blog, an annoying brother, and work for ocho cinco but between the lines, Al is light years ahead. So let's officially put this idiotic idea to bed.

Yes, b/c the 4th round isn't ever about value... considering how old our rb's are.

Should we think about making a move into the late third and pick up Bruce Campbell as our RT of the future?
