Our running game should be huge this year. A ton of good RBs and a better line...Beck may not need to do a lot.
Agreed. I think the O-line and the defense overall will be improved quite a bit. Our success won't hinge as much on QB play as last year. But I'm still not sold even one little bit on any QB on our roster.

I'd still like to bring Dennis Dixon into the fold. I don't think he's a franchise QB or anything, but it sure would make things that much more interesting this year.
I just think if the organization wants to win now, and it looks like they do, then they should go out and try and sign Bulger. He was the best FA out there and he's better than anyone we currently have.
One wonders how exactly any of the moves we've made signify that we want to win now in anyway. If anything, the moves we've made prove that we are NOT in win now mode, and are far from trying to win now.
Well if the front office didn't shove a win now approach down our throats then perhaps the fans would be more patient. I know I would. If this QB situation blows up in the Shanahans faces, and it's a good chance it will, then the heat is really going to be on them, both from Snyder and the fans. And what if Blaine Gabbert gets time and plays well????
What?

We've been stocking up on young depth players and filling holes...not making flashy "win now" signings like the Eagles.

Are we watching the same Redskins team?
Camp is just getting started, I wouldn't read too far into these updates. Seems like opinions on Beck differ depending on who you listen to.
Every little move he makes is going to be highly scrutinized....good or bad.

Did Fred Davis oversleep again?
I'm firmly on the Beck bandwagon. Hey why not, we tried the big name approach last year and it was a fail. We've got nothing to lose.
It's happened before where Qb's come out of nowhere how bout romo? he was a 3rd stringer, trent green, kurt warner, and on and on. Rex knows the offense and put up decent numbers in his 3 games, but he's still Rex. If Beck is as accurate as they say he will be just fine.

Well...someone's gotta do it so I will...I'm firing up the Chappell Caravan! The last Indiana QB we had wasn't so bad

Oh I missed that. Oh well. My Dennis Dixon/John Kuhn dreams have been dashed.

It's a win now approach, or try and win just enough to keep our jobs approach. Not saying it's awful but IMO we really shouldn't sign this many free agents cause it really never works.

How would you suggest they get to a 90 man training camp roster?

You're thinking of the Eagles. MS had a win now approach last year when he wasted picks on McNabb. If he had the same mentality this year, we would be throwing picks at the Bengals for Palmer.
