Re: As long as RGIII is 100% for 2013 training camp...
So we know just as much now as we did before the press conference.
Which is that it looked very bad and little else. Sigh. |
Twitter reports from HTTR24_7 suggest RG3 is out for 2013 campaign... Not good news
Then there's these types of opposite, optimistic reports.
Robert Griffin III will fly down to Pensacola on Tuesday for an MRI with Dr. James Andrews. [B]Andrews will make a "full evaluation" of Griffin's knee, which was problematic for the final month of the 2012 season. Shanahan otherwise provided no updates. The Redskins sound optimistic that Griffin didn't tear any knee ligaments, but he clearly aggravated his prior LCL sprain and will need plenty of rest time. Lets stop throwing out Chicken Little rumors because someone has a Twitter account or gets their mug on ESPN. We just have to wait...no reason to panic until we have facts. |

Re: As long as RGIII is 100% for 2013 training camp...
I can't imagine anyone would expect Shanahan to address it in his presser prior to receiving the actual diagnosis.

As always, man, HTTR. |
Re: As long as RGIII is 100% for 2013 training camp...
How can you know on January 7, 2013 that a player will be out for next year when "next year" doesn't start until probably September 8th 2013? That's 8 months away!! Is everyone with a twitter account and expert? HTTR24_7? Who is that anyway and why should be care?
|
Re: As long as RGIII is 100% for 2013 training camp...
No matter the injury, I have 100% faith in RGIII that he will do whatever it takes to get healthy as fast as possible. I heard a twitter rumor that he is ordering a gallon of Adrian Peterson's sweat to begin the healing process.
*wow I am dyslexic sometimes, originally spelled rumor as roomer. This knee has my mind all messed up. |

It depends on if he prescribed good pain meds. |

Sounds like surgery time if you ask me. Are there no MRI machines in DC all of a sudden? |

Are no MRI machines in DC all of a sudden?
If he needs surgery, getting it less than 48 hours after the game can only help his recovery schedule. We have the best doctor on the planet as our team doctor. I'm not worried. He'll be back and dominating the league again. |
