Cousins is about as good as he is gonna get. He is used to being a pocket passer but he is average or slightly above average. Once RG3 adds the pocket passer game to his game he is gonna be special.
Let's hope not. Just using that as an example of how it's not always the O-line's fault. Who the QB is and how they play has a lot to do with pass protection. Another example is Kurt Warner. He was so good at punishing the blitz that teams would hardly ever blitz him. A lesser QB behind the same O-line might bet blitzed unmercilessly.

I'm all in on RG3, but not to the point that I'm blind to his glaringly bad flaws.
Me either, he has looked pretty bad so far this preseason. That said its preseason, and I've been around long enough to not get too excited or discouraged about preseason. My hope is that this O has keep it very vanilla and will have a very different look once the season begins.

This season can't start soon enough.

So far, he answers properly, meaning he gives meaningful answers while still being guarded towards the media.

His responses in the linked video were very good. He does look awkward in a suit, so fashionistas unite!

I'm not hitting the Panic button; however, I do reserve the right to push the button after watching the first four regular season games if necessary....

All Hail Coach Gruden, The Undefeated!

But if he ever loses a game I'll be on him like white on rice.

Looks like that was from a year ago. I hope a years worth of reps will bring an improvement, but we certainly haven't seen it yet.

I like how honest and straight forward Gruden is being about RG3's development. Pretty much saying that he needs to ease into the pocket passing game, and that at this point if the running game struggles it will be ugly if Robert gets into a shoot out. I really do believe he will develop into an elite passer, but this year, we won't see that quite yet. I do think he will have a better year though, and expect him to find his confidence again.
