Re: Did Mcnabb open the door for TO?
I'm amazed that people are still hyped up over Kyle's coach-speak. What's he gonna say? Yeah we need help on the OL and tip their hand for the draft??
As far as the staff not liking our WRs, they haven't come out and said anything in regard to that. |

Isn't Andrews always hurt?

As far as the staff not liking our WRs, they haven't come out and said anything in regard to that.
Exactly! furthermore you can't blame the QB (JC) and the receivers. It is well known that a great QB makes good receivers. We now have a great QB. We will be just fine in this department IMO. Again if we do go after T.O. or a WR of his caliber, it does not in any way suggest our current receivers are disliked. It simply means we want a "proven" Vet WR. |

Yeah but always hurt has been the case with been Adamn Carriker, Ryan Torain, Roydell Williams, and Maake Kamoeatu. Plus you could make a pretty good case for McNabb being injury prone. The Skins seem to be taking chances with guys who have been hurt and want to prove themsevles, which i am all for. I guess Andrews also has depression issues so that might raise a bigger red flag. Although i feel like his depression might be tied to his back injury issues. |

Maake played 14-16 games in each of 2002-2008. McNabb...yeah...he's been injury-prone over the past few years but is worth the risk. |
Re: Did Mcnabb open the door for TO?
Torrain broke his foot his senior year at Arizona State, dislocated his elbow and damaged ligaments during preseason as a rookie, and tore his acl later on that rookie year. I think he had complications with the acl because he received a injury settlement last year.
Carricker had his shoulder muscle tear injury but im pretty certain he missed or played sparingly his second year because of ankle and hamstring problems. Maake is a 31 year old 350 pounder that tore his achillies last year - so always hurt isnt true but hes a injury risk True - Roydell doesnt make it. |

.. "its already a done deal" PS.... he's an eagles fan and he's very scared
I'm not discrediting you. I too get the feeling a deal may already be in place or an agreement that sometime perhaps in May or June prior to camp he will sign and be a Skin. So he doesn't have to be a part of the voluntary work outs. Maybe he has other commitments. It's just my personal feelings. Nothing substantial. I think all this talk is how DS does business. Leak a little see how it flies. Leak it again later see how it flies. Leak it again. All in hopes the fan base will be wore down and say either sign him or move on. Example.... Shanahan. Prior to that the team would do that with players they wanted to pick up.... AH, Jason Taylor, etc. But, I always find if funny when people start off with the ...." I have this family member who works for the Skins and..." or " I have a friend who works in Seattle who's baby sister is dating an NBA star who hails from DC. The unamed NBA player has a brother who works for a company that sells grass seeds to the field personel at Redskins park and he told them that T.O. is a lock." :) |
