that was nice to read big al has participated in all 3 practices this week. im also happy that al will be used at DE this week. im kind of the position that if al can get thru a week of practice, let him start or atleast play with the starters at DE for the jets. lets start the transition of getting him reps with the 1st team. points have been proven on both sides. if al can get thru a week of practice without having vaginal cramps lets return the gesture and let hims start of atleast play with the starters. |

At least in the first game, the 1st team d-line was unable to push a meager Buffalo offensive line. So I hope they get the their act together for this one. |

Ah, I'm enjoying this swing of the pendulum. Lol this is hilarious:
Q: What you said last week, do you think that’s behind you? A: “Yeah, it’s behind me. I don’t even remember what I said last week.”
:laughing2 |

Haynesworth realizes that he can bend all he wants but there will be no break.

Re: More Haynesworth Drama? Big Al Sounds Off After Ravens Game
Does Shanahan have a house in New York or is he and Albert gonna smoke very late tonight? I don't know y that fascinates me, but I would think after playing a football game and a long ride home I'd go to bed and not go to a coaches house and smoke a cigar after a game haha

Re: More Haynesworth Drama? Big Al Sounds Off After Ravens Game
Shanahan rewarding Al and keeping his word..you practice...you play with 1st team and get you in football shape.
Damn..If Shanahan gets Haynesworth to play for the team and coach and not his nice car and house....Teams are in real trouble with Fat Al in the lineup. A motivated Fat Al could make this Defense very solid and we need it to improve our run defense. I didn't see it,so I will catch it on my DVR recording..but I heard Fat Al tossed The Jets all-pro Center Mangold like a rag doll. Is this true? I don't care what anybody tells me..we're a better team with a "motivated" Fat Al than him on the sideline with the 2nd team. |

I take it you know that cigar comment was a joke. As for Big Al's sudden change of heart, he's got more mood swings than a pregnant lady |

As for Big Al's sudden change of heart, he's got more mood swings than a pregnant lady
That comparison is offensive to all of the pregnant women of the world. How dare you drag them down to AH's level. :) |
Re: More Haynesworth Drama? Big Al Sounds Off After Ravens Game
Big Al played pretty well. Let's hope he can build on tonight and start being the all pro we know he can be. But let's not get too excited casue the guy had one decent pre season game.

Re: More Haynesworth Drama? Big Al Sounds Off After Ravens Game
OK... watching this game right now. Said it in Game Day thread but no one is watching so I will repeat myself.
When Albert came on with the first team defense to start the second quarter the Jets running game stopped working. AH makes this run defense a completely different unit and I have said this repeatedly during the preseason. "Do not read to much into how the run defense looks until we see all the pieces in place (mainly AH playing with the first unit)." With him out there the LBs and AH himself were around the ball carrier very quickly and you didnt see them gash us. We caused turnovers and pretty much wipped the Jets OLine when we went full strength with our Sept. 12 starting D. We are going to be just fine this year on D, AH at RDE is a great move. |
