You can say the same about the entire defense.
Sent from my GT-P5113 using Tapatalk 2
Not really, other players on D don't waitfor a player to get up to try to strip the ball instead of just touching the player down. That's the kind of shit that drives me up the wall along with shit talking. I'll give him credit, he just needs to play like he did yesterday every week. |

Sent from my GT-P5113 using Tapatalk 2
The Cowboys might be the most beat up team in the NFL. By the end of the game they had guys in there I've never even heard of. I don't feel sorry for them cause we have injuries of our own....just sayin' |

Injuries are a part of the game. At no point this year, that I'm aware of, they played without their starting QB. The Skins have played without RGIII, Pierre Garcon for a significant portion of the season, no Fred Davis, began the season without a starting RT, three lost three starters on defense, back-up nose tackle. No Roy Helu. Switched FG kickers mid stream. No sympathy here. Good teams weather injuries and find a way to rally. Bad teams don't. That's life in the NFL. |
Re: Cowboys at Redskins Post Game Thread
Not jumping on you Skinsfan69, simply saying no NFL roster finishes the season the way it started. If the Redskins have proved anything beyond a shadow of a doubt, they have solid depth across the board.

A couple things I liked about our game yesterday:
Kai missing a field goal. Rather have him miss now, than in the playoffs. He was riding that streak of being too good. Expectations go high and a miss amounts to more pressure and hatred and can ultimately kill a kickers career. DHall. I bash this guy all year, all the time. I still think he needs to go after the season. But I give him credit. He played great yesterday shutting down arguably the best WR right now in the NFL. Perry Riley's last second hit. That got me out of my chair. He's a stud in the making and the heir to Fletcher when he ultimately retires. Hasletts game plan. A gap blitz all game. And it worked all game. Alfred Morris running determined. What I didn't like: RG3 running. He is definitely NOT healthy. A knee brace isn't supposed to make you look like Peyton Manning running. Hopefully he gets healthier for Seattle, because Chris Clemons (remember him?!) and Bruce Irvin (runs a 4.4), can and WILL get to RG3 at his current speed. I'm not complaining about having RG3 run the ball, I'm just more so upset that he isn't healed yet (thought this was a 2-3 week injury) The offense not clicking early on. We forced two Romo INTs and still didn't get a single point off of turnovers. If we want to win in the playoffs, we got to get points. Rob Jackson playing his way off the redskins. His play of recent has been great. Maybe too great. He is a Free Agent after the year and he is currently showing that he is more than a backup on this team. Orakpo is a better pass rusher, but Jackson is a smart player who is better in coverage. He just recently had a kid and is just now coming along as a starting caliber OLB on our team. He has the leverage right now in contract situations. He is young too. I could easily see him leaving us for more money and starting a new somewhere else come next offseason. Other option is trading Orakpo. But at OLB its about who gets more pressure and more sacks, and we know how much better this team can be with Orakpo in terms of getting to the QB than with Rob Jackson whom keep in mind just started coming along the past 4-5 games. Big decisions will have to be made come the offseason with one of the two players, and I have a feeling it'll be Jackson who will be to much to resign for us and playing somewhere else next year. |

The skins have a lot of injuries themselves. |

Im gonna give more credit to the coaching staff than to the depth. Both teams were equally as banged up coming into the game imo. Carriker Rak BW, nield, and a couple others in the secondary. RG-3 was obviously not 100 % but he didnt wet the bed like Romo. Dallas losing miles and dez last nite was a big factor, but oh well. |
Miles hadn't done much all year & Dez played for 3.75 quarters @ the same health he has played with the last six weeks.
We controlled Dez while he was in the game & I can't say anything would've been different the final 3-5 minutes based upon our play during the rest of the game. |

He somehow forces a turnover like almost every game. You cant let that walk away. |

Ive seen Dez burn us before at the end of the game. When he tweaked his back i was pretty relieved. Kept thinking he was going to burn us eventually. |
I'd try to get it taken care of now before he gets offers. Not sure his agent would go for it though.
I just wonder how much it will take. Fine line between making a smart decision or a dumb one. |

I wasn't relieved until Jackson got the INT. It's insane how we always let teams get back in the game. I'm still pissed over the missed delay of game/hold call on their 1st td. Just glad it didn't burn us in the end. |
