No, yeah, I think they can use the bathroom just fine by themselves. Will that linebacker pick up the coverage on that back, though? Will that safety adjust to what that receiver just did? Does the 2nd year corner see what any veteran would see looking into the backfield? We don't need a bunch of 30 year-olds out there, but the young guys do need leaders. You point to Seattle's relatively young defense, but Richard Sherman and the rest of those guys communicate constantly, unlike our defense. Clark will be an absolute asset this year. Better than any safety we have, an excellent communicator on defense, and an excellent mentor for the young guys.
Well that statement means they don't need their hand held. Robinson is in his 3rd year. He knows the defense. If he doesn't know it by now then he shouldn't be on the team. Yeah he may not have the knowledge of Fletcher but he can learn it and he's a far better athlete. It's ok to have your players learning and playing together.
I agree

apparently D Hall is playing some FS, however I doubt they are strong enough at CB to move Hall.................. it sounds like Rambo isn't the answer either
I like this move a lot. We need a ballhawk back there. Maybe Breeland can step in there at corner.
with all the talk of the receiving corp and RGIII, thought I would throw in a video for a little Alfmo love:

Give him a few more years of the type of production he's had so far and he will join the pantheon of great Redskins RB's.

N-o-o-o-o-o! Not another rookie corner. I think that DHall could do a good job at FS but if we move him to safety, I think we'll need to trade for a veteran CB. If I were the Redskins GM, I'd even overpay, if necessary, to get another solid vet at CB.

FS - DHall
SS - Phillip Thomas
CB - Solid Vet via Trade
CB - David Amerson

I think I'd feel pretty good about that group.

Fan, how does one become a solid vet? If you were the GM, you'd never trust the draft picks that you selected or the vets that you brought in? No way you find a diamond in the rough unless you let them play. Stop with all of the trade for vets BS. Trust the vets that you traded for and the players on the roster!

In his press conference, I believe Gruden said that they were just letting other players cycle through CB so they could go against the ones. I don't think you are going to see Hall at FS this year in the normal rotations.

I'm with you. When you're facing Marshall/Jeffery or some receiving combo like that, you want DHall or an unobtained proven vet at CB for sure, along with Amerson. Tracy Porter is nice as a nickel back but is not who you want all game on someone like Dez Bryant.
I think he has the edge, but that's just my speculation
From Saturday's practice:
Not a good day for Forbath, who hit each upright when attempting field goals later in the day, from 34 and 40 yards. Meanwhile, rookie Zach Hocker hit from 35, 41 and 54 yards – all down the middle. Forbath’s 53-yarder was a low liner; Hocker’s was a deep drive.

Interesting battle, won't be able to tell until games.. So hard to consider moving on from a kicker who's already in the Hall of Fame (Forbath) for making 17 in a row and leading the league in FG% in 2012, and making his last 13 FG last year..

But honestly, even the worst FG kickers usually still make 70% of FG, and average for kickers is about 85% (which is around Forbath's average for 2 years). Going from top 10 to just average FG kicking would be about 2-3 FG for the year, or missing 6-9 points total for the year. In contrast we gave up a kick return touchdown last year. Not to mention field position battle is huge for the game. I'd bet if Hocker stays halfway decent, he'd be better for us in the long run.

Yea if he can kick it out of the endzone like almost every other NFL team, and is actually a pretty good kicker, I would like to see him get the job.

This is like the 3rd summer in a row that Hall has seen some snaps at FS

Exactly. But I doubt we see much of Hall at FS.

Super excited that my friend and I are getting into the VIP section on the 11th. I'm tempted to try and ask Clark and Moss to sign my Sean Taylor shirt.

Think your looking at the wrong %, what was forbath kickoff return rate vs the rest of the league?
