FLAT out cheating. I see what you did there. |

This. The Pats had nothing to do with game balls. |

Kind of like the Salary cap issue the Skins and Cowboys had a couple of years ago. |
Mike McCarthy coached like a fat gutless pussy, and lost like one. He Jim Haslett'd that game. What a loser coach. He got his 1 super bowl he'll ever get cause Rodgers won in spite of him. What a coward.
I agree with you, although I don't think I would put it quite the way you did. The bottom line is that you must "go for it" in the playoffs and you can't shut down your passing offense as early as McCarthy did versus Seattle. If anyone cares to look, see my post above at the end of the half. That's when his goose was cooked. Basically, McCarthy left the door open for Seattle by failing to go for it on fourth and goal twice in the first half. McCarthy made egregious coaching mistakes in the second half, as well. This loss was on the HC. He let his players and Packer Nation down. |
Re: Conference Championship thread
So let me get this straight, Belichick took the air out of Lucks balls ?? Hope he at least got a handy out of it.

Not u D green was talking about the media

Re: Conference Championship thread
Deflated balls? C'mon. Don't the Colts have control over their balls and the balls that Luck handles? What a bunch of BS.

Re: Conference Championship thread
Green Bay has no one to blame but themselves. Giving up the onside kick, fake FG, being too conservative, 3rd and 19. It's going to be a long off season in Green Bay.

If they had punched just one of those in, they're in the Super Bowl. |

Yeah the article says that. I was referring that when air molecules are cooled they would exert a lower volume. You know Charles' law. |
Re: Conference Championship thread

Listening to a sports station in Milwaukee and they are blasting the ST coach and deservedly so. |
Re: Conference Championship thread
A deflated Football is used by both teams and thus would not favor one team over the other. The refs control the Footballs once they are out on the field. This is a bullshit story.
This is a story to fill a LONG two weeks before Super Bowl and keeps the NFL in the headlines. Lord knows the Probowl has become the biggest joke game ever. Fans were boo-ing the last game. |
Re: Conference Championship thread
Add Rex Ryan to that list too.
Playoffs are about matchups. Colts match up better with the Broncos then the pats. Just like the pats struggle with the Ravens and zone running schemes (shanahan matches up well with bill)
Very good points. When it comes down to it, teams that predominately run the ball are better match-ups with NE as opposed to the passing teams. |
