Re: Week 15
That Tampa playoff loss hurt so bad. I remember I worked weekends at that time in my life and I took a 3 hour lunch "break" in the back of our building to watch the game in a well hidden break room most folks never used. Flubbing a FG and then when we made Shaun King fumble but the ball rolled right to Warrick Dunn who ran for a first down.
Ugh..... It just seems like our last 4 playoff appearances there has been something in our own power that changed the game for the opponent and it had little to do with them. Our team fell apart every time. |

Re: Week 15
Apparently the bat on the sideline has been done before by panthers n other teams.
https://twitter.com/jasonrmcintyre/status/679399281233690625 i dont have a big problem with a bat being brought onto the field as some motivational whatever .... but come on man. you cant have some non-dressed panther player acting like a douche walking around with it trying to talk trash. this same dude was standing around w the bat when the giants came out of the tunnel for warm ups trying to get "noticed" by the giants players. bringing a bat onto the field was just a dumb idea. to allow some random non-dressed dude to walk around looking for any reason to start something w giants players was real dumb. do that shit w trent and he'd break that bat off in that panthers players ear hole. |
Re: Week 15
Why did no other team the panthers played make an issue about the bat?

Because ODB is the biggest bitch in the NFL and he plays for a bitch ass team. |

Bc no panthers player acted antagonistic with it in his hand until now? A bored, non-dressed player sauntering around the field carrying a bat and making sure he stays as close and visible to opposing team players as possible and then when words are exchanged and the non-dressed player walking towards the dressed player ..... just isnt a good look. the non-dressed guy seemed like he was just looking for a reaction so he could ramp it up. non-dressed panther player - you look like an idiot, you do not look tough, go home. |

MLB has bats all over the place. Who cares if someone points it at someone else? ODB tried to severely injure another player. He is lucky he didnt paralyze the guy. And ur defense is because someone taunted him with a bat out of uniform??? No. Just no. |

Weak excuse, "I'm afraid I'm to get hit by a bat". What are the panthers? Caveman? BS excuse!! |

I never mentioned ODB or said it was an excuse for anything. ODB was a jerk sunday and deserved at least a 1 game fine. My post was exclusively about how it was just a matter of time until a non-dressed player carrying a bat around and trying to get noticed by the other team would start something. Also, its not about whether ODB realistically thought he was going to get hit by a bat. its just a very dumb look to walk around with a bat trying to get noticed by the other team. |

A look. Ur reply to the original question about why no team ever reacted was because the out of uniform player was "antagonistic" which would imply ODB (whether mentioned by name or not he is obviously the star witness ) was in fear that the player was going to use the bat. Of course its not about whether ODB thought he was going to get hit because he knew damn well he was not. So , what, ODB can just be a cheap dirty bitch because he did not like the look? Come on. Yea its a bad look. Dont want my team looking like thugs, but ODB's actions were in no way reasonable. Nor are the Giants organizations excuses for ODB because of the "look". |
Re: Week 15
So what's up with this ODB gay stuff? Apparently players around the league say he's gay.
