Re: Redskins Free Agency 2016
I'm a little worried about not filling the holes we created with not resigning Hatch and Knight. But maybe they'll come back for less after testing the market if we don't sign upgrades/replacements.
I like Reggie Nelson but would much rather address DL,LB and CB with the most resources. |
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports free agent Vernon Davis is visiting the Redskins on Thursday.
Redskins GM Scot McCloughan drafted Davis in San Francisco, but this is not a great fit. yuck. guy was terrible with the Broncos. Hope we pass
Well the entire offense was terrible in Denver (see D. Thomas). |

He was specifically brought in to help improve it...he, by all accounts, was a major disappointment. |
Re: Redskins Free Agency 2016
Vernon Davis at the NFL minimum, no guaranteed money, otherwise no thanks
Reggie Nelson at the right price would be a big addition . DL in the draft.... Hatcher and Knighton are not coming back. |

As for Hatcher, I think the Skins should try to get younger at his position. The Skins should be able to address both positions with other players either in FA or in the draft. A FA CB would be nice. There are a couple of decent ones still available. I don't see any FA OLB who excites me as a fan, other than our own Junior Galette. Inside LB can be addressed in the draft. |

DL Andre Branch is headed to the #Redskins to visit, source said.

32 years old....pass |
Re: Redskins Free Agency 2016
People are acting as if Vernon Davis would be asked to be the primary tight end.

Re: Redskins Free Agency 2016
Keenan Robinson signed w/ Giants. I would have liked Key to get another chance at adapting to Barry 1 gap 34 but c'est la vie. Good luck KRob

Hard player to figure out. Got the speed to go sideline to sideline and can hit. But never struck me as the brightest, nothing like Pierce who made his living on reading and diagnosing the play. Robinson lost his job to Will Compton for that reason. One good year for the skins, one disappointing year, and the rest marred by injury. There's upside there but he shouldn't be considered much more than depth, hopefully for your sake they didn't pay too much. |

32 years old is what I see and coming off a less than stellar year. I personally would rather see us develop younger players who are less expensive & have a higher upside. |
