I don't like option routes to Reed. Just as easily a TD if Smith threw it inside. Looks like Reed made the right choice. Safety had outside leverage and Smith threw it right to him. Devastating.

Actually might not have been an option route and just a terrible pass.

Either way, awful.

It looked to me that Reed paused and had a WTF look toward Smith when the pass was off target and did not react to the guy intercepting it.

Just throw to Quinn! He’s been catching. There’s no reason for him not to have 5+ catches this game. Hell even throw to Floyd. Harris, Quinn, Floyd. That’s it.

I’m well aware of those things, but it’s still not an excuse. As a professional player you have to know where you should be and execute.

Two of AS ints this year have been on that type of play. My guess is Reed and KC had a different understanding of how to throw that. AS hasnt ever connected real well with Reed...
