Re: D.J. Swearinger released
The irony is that DJ speaking out may have been the thing that saved Manusky's job, the front office probably don't want to appear to have allowed a players public opinion to sway their decisions

And that’s the same level of nepotism and decision making that’s haunted this organization since 99. But people support the DJ move, because they can’t see the bigger picture here People laughed when I said it was a ploy.....we’ll see Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Re: D.J. Swearinger released
What does the safety tandem of DJ and HaHa have to do with DJ's release? Nothing. Neither he nor HaHa is anything special.
Let me simplify this for you. You can't talk shit about the coaches in the media after you've talked shit about the coaches in the media before and been told by the HC not to talk any more shit about the coaches in the media. I think it's clear that he was released for talking more shit about coaches in the media after he was warned not to do that anymore. |

Re: D.J. Swearinger released
No he doesn't. Not at all. He is very protective of his players and coaches.
Gruden always protects his players as much as possible in the media after games. The lone exception was when RG3 came out and started talking bad about the other players. Accountability happens in the meeting room not the media. What good organizations let their players bad mouth coaches and front office through the media? Even if everything is true. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
He called out Alex Smith for not hitting open targets. He called out Trent for a penalty that killed a drive etc etc. it is not only RG3 he has criticized. The players need to hear that from the HC |

Just listened to the post giants presser. He didn't throw anyone under the bus. He came out and said they competed after that s show. You're right there are examples here and there probably when asked about specific plays? But generally he is protective and I believe he should be. A team can't have an "it's us versus the world" mentality when airing it in the media. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk |

Re: D.J. Swearinger released
He is a Pro Bowl alternate and evwryone knows the Pro Bowl is watered down hot garbage. The two best teams don't send their players. DJ is a solid player who can be replaced. That is obvious since he will now be on his 5tth team if someone signs him. No need for loud mouthed cry babies.
Oh really, keep defending our disgrace for an organization. Had he played on the Cowboys, or any respectable team this year, he would have been an all pro. But he played for the idiots of the NFL. Didn't take him long to get a job. He was one of the best values for the money on our team. |
Re: D.J. Swearinger released
Swearinger has also mentioned laid back practices and poor preparation....this team isn't where it is only because of injuries....substandard coaching is involved too....

Re: D.J. Swearinger released
I was not a big fan of Swearinger before he got and do no think he is anything special. But Swearinger (as player) is better than Manusky as a coach.

Re: D.J. Swearinger released
They did the right thing. You can't have players like this on your team. it will kill any chemistry you might have.

DJ basically can not cover, is an ok tackler and runs his mouth. I have a feeling if we were cutting Troy Apke you'd still be complaining about how incompetent the front office is. |

Our coaching staff and front office are clearly incompetent. All you have to do is look at their record over the past five years, and a number of their bad decisions over that timeframe as well Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

You can say whatever you want about our coaching staff but let me ask you this,What’s our record over the past five years again? How many playoff wins have we had in the past five years? Who Botched the cousins situation? Who brought Alex Smith in on that massive contract? Who hired Ruben Foster? Who let Mason Foster get away with his comments? How many players have left here to be successful elsewhere? Who lost McVay? As I said, this is a shit organization and they have a shit coaching staff. Been this way since 99 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Re: D.J. Swearinger released
You sound pretty bitter about this. Have you ever considered rooting for another team? Maybe one with a long pedigree of winning and/or a SB title? Philly comes to mind.
