Their charges won't even be attempted murder. How do you shoot someone multiple times and not get a charge of attempted murder?
Why people become criminals could have a 10,000 post thread. But right now we too often treat the perpetrator like they're an equal victim to the actual victim. It's not right. |

Beyond me. I just assumed it would be attempted murder at a minimum. What else do you call it? |

I got that, but where's the thing saying this was a catch and release? I know people like to rail against it (ie it should be illegal to be poor/being charged is the same as being guilty), but I'm not seeing anything in this thread saying the perps were catch+release or shooting people after being caught and released for some other crime they were awaiting trial on. |

The same reason you can’t get the name of the piece of shit kids is the same reason you can’t dig thru their criminal records. But I’m sure they are clean because 14-17 who caring guns around robbing and shooting folks usually are. |
These kids won't do any real time. DC is catch and release. Sad.
I'm not sure what you are looking for. I was responding to this post...saying it is ridiculous if they are "caught and released". |

But I’m sure they are clean because 14-17 who caring guns around robbing and shooting folks usually are.
court appearances and sentences are public record. I don't think murderers are generally allowed to have their records sealed. I'm just saying without some kind of proof or cited sources, we should try to avoid saying silly things and then doubling down and changing the subject. The sheriffs that rail against cashless bail in public go to congressional hearings and say it's not a big deal and does not increase crime rates in any meaningful way. So if you're getting different information that is actually factual (not anecdotal/political misinformation), I'd like to know so I can take a look at it. |
