Re: 'Skins-Cowboys Game thread 9/19/05
So none of the other problems matter tonight?
Nobody getting open, the OL getting blown up, guys dropping balls when they actually do get open? Plugging in Ramsey wouldn't equal an instant fix, not with the way the entire offense is playing right now.
Patten was open deep and Brunell underthrew him in the first half. Moss was open in the endzone and Brunell underthrew him. And the entire offense looks different and plays different when Ramsey is in there. It's as simple as this: Look at the numbers. Compare what Ramsey has done in the Gibbs offense to what Brunell has done in the Gibbs offense. That's all I ask, just please compare the numbers. Ramsey has had more yards per attempt, more yards per completion, a better completion percentage, a better QB rating, and a ton more passing yards. They both play under the same offensive system........so assuming the offense would have been just as bad tonight with Ramsey at the helm is contradictory to history. Oh, and Brunell just underthrew Patten AGAIN. |

On the short stuff it is not like Brunell has hit ANYONE in stride, how many times have you seen Robert Royal make an incredible catch but his body is all twisted and off balance so he cannot run withit afterwards. No one respects Brunells arm so welcome to eight men in a box....yep our worst nightmare last years O has returned. |
Re: 'Skins-Cowboys Game thread 9/19/05
Our offense has more than QB problems. But brunnel is terrible. I have a feeling Ramsey would have faired no better.

Re: 'Skins-Cowboys Game thread 9/19/05
Actually OVERthrew an open Jacobs........the guy just sucks...it's that simple.......he has NO business being our starting QB

Re: 'Skins-Cowboys Game thread 9/19/05
ANOTHER Sack for minus 50 yards.....real veteran move there

Re: 'Skins-Cowboys Game thread 9/19/05
Gibbs had better be a MAN and shake Parcells hand this time. This loss rests heavily on his shoulders.
|
Re: 'Skins-Cowboys Game thread 9/19/05
Also John Madden and Al Michaels both have extremely strange man crushes on Bill Parcells and definitely want to lick his balls.

Now we're back on that? He shook his hand and quickly turned away. Get over it. |
Re: 'Skins-Cowboys Game thread 9/19/05
I am dying a little inside every offensive play.

They've been loving everything about the Cowboys tonight. But I guess that's what happens when you win. |

Then lets not play either of them. If niether of these guys can win us a game, which right now I KNOW Brunell cant, and am 70% sure the same could be said for Ramsey, just play Campbell. Theres no point wasting our time with this crap. THis is just rediculous. |

Ramsey just holds onto the ball too damn long. I mean he's been sacked 5 times (in addition to throwing the pick). Oh wait, that's not Ramsey. |
Re: 'Skins-Cowboys Game thread 9/19/05
I'm just waiting for everyone BUT Brunell to be blamed for the loss tonight.
Everyone was praising Moss, Patten, the O-line, and Portis in the preseason and all of the sudden, Brunell isn't to blame....it's thier fault. The offensive woes are a team effort, but Brunell is a big part of the problem.
EXACTLY |
Now we're back on that?
He shook his hand and quickly turned away. Get over it.
That did not look good on TV. So be MAN walk up slowly, look Parcells in the eye and shake his hand. It is called being a good sport. |
