Regarding The Walking Dead finale . . . Anybody have any theories as to what the doctor whispered to the main character (can't think of his name) as he left the CDC?
My wife thinks the blood test he took of the survivors revealed that the dude's wife is pregnant.
According to the comics, that's exactly what he said. |

re: What Shows Are You Watching?
Ok it's the first time I haven't Liked a Season of Dexter it started good with a lot of potential butit just fell flat and the season finale was CRAP as hell I know you can't end with another cliffhanger as big as last year but this episode and whole conclusion was just baaaaaaad.
It left me with a bad taste in my mouth last year I couldn't wait for this season to start now I'm just glad it's over... I don't know if the wroters are losing their touch or ran out of ideas but this whole season had way too many holes and it was boring and predictable. Too bad let's hope it bounces back next year or I'll be forced to change my Dogs name. |

They were supposedly shooting for that. It was achieved. I think the plan is to tone it down a little but either way they're going for a pretty authentic comic-book feel. |
re: What Shows Are You Watching?
Bob's Burgers... Not bad. Not good. But probably not cancel worthy. I caught it towards the end of the show. I'll probably check it out next Sunday in it's entirety to get a better feel for the show.

Anyone catch Episodes or Shameless on Showtime yesterday?

I get that there's a limited budget for special effects on TV, but holy hell, it looked like they never bothered to do a final render on the scenes where the cape was CG'd. I mean it was SyFy movie of the week quality. And this is from someone who loves comic books, sci fi and special effects centric cheese. and DR, Bob's Burgers grew on me as I watched. |

I will definitely check this out
I hated Bob's Burgers. It is poorly drawn, I don't like the characters, and it felt like they were saying effed up shit just to say effed up shit. The one thing that I did like is for once the father character is not the dumbass. I will give it a few more episodes to grow on me and allow for character development but right now it isn't looking good. |

Don't forget Spartacus: Season 2 comes on in less than two weeks.
Also, HBO's Game of Thrones is coming up this April. Neither are suitable for people that like floral arrangements... |

Assasins Creed main storyline is terrible. In fact it is beyond terrible. The story of Ezio Auditore is actually very good but every-time you get to the end of an assassins creed game it becomes a let down. I wish Hollywood would quit bastardizing games with crappy movies. Especially Resident Evil where the director keeps on finding new ways to make his wifes Mary Sue character more and more powerful while spitting off ear bleeding lines that sound like they were written by a 12 year old. Paul WS Anderson is the Vinny Cerrato of video game movies in that he had one decent hit (Mortal Kombat/Terrell Owens) but since then despite making absolute crap still finds a way to keep his job because people keep showing up to watch his terrible movies. The ironic part is they could double, even tipple what they're making now off Resident Evil due to a recent demand for zombie movies. All they would have to do is get a director to give the franchise the Christopher Nolan treatment and they would be in the same ballpark as most summer blockbusters. |

.
Disagree here. You have the makings of both a period piece and sci fi. Hard to beat that... I actually like the story line with the pieces of Eden, genetic memory, etc... |

That parts you mentioned are all great. It's just the weird alien gods that ruin it for me. |

I didn't think it was THAT bad. I kind of see the cheese as it's charm. Of course, I didn't have any expectations for the show either. About the only show I like to watch on TV is "Chuck" anyways... |

re: What Shows Are You Watching?
It's a few years old now, but i started watching Damages. I've watched two episodes and it's very good. Direct TV is showing this from season 1.
Season 3 of The Wire has now started. Really, the best show I've ever seen. Anyone who hasn't seen it, start from season 1 and try it out. |
re: What Shows Are You Watching?
Bob's Burgers blows, the drawinngs and the voice of the main character remind me of Home Movies which was a little funny. I know I've got a half hour where I can be free of Fox' Animation Domination lineup.

re: What Shows Are You Watching?
Anybody watch Onion Sportsdome on Comedy Central? I managed to catch a few minutes of it the other day, haven't watched the whole show yet but I thought the few minutes I did catch were pretty good. It's about time somebody capitalized on the comedic aspect of sports, there's no shortage of it online but tv wise the only sports coverage is the serious aspect of it like ESPN, NFLN, NHLN, NBAN, MLBN, VS, all the sports programs on HBO, Showtime, etc.

Anyone watching the show from Ricky Gervais, "An Idiot Abroad" on the science channel? It is freakin hilarious.

So i was excited about this series but honestly it is kind of stupid and dragged out. How many times and ways can you make a kid cry? Is basically what it boils down to. |

I really like it. I always like seeing some punk kid who thinks they're so tough crumble in about 2 seconds once the doors to the prison close behind them. And it's good to see how the program helps turn around most of the kids. |
re: What Shows Are You Watching?
Not a "new" show but the new season of Parks & Rec has been hilarious. That show is firing on all cylinders.
I'm kinda digging Perfect Couples too. I was ready to give up on it after the lame first episode but it's really picked up since then. |
re: What Shows Are You Watching?
The original english version of Skins. It's brilliant and available on Netflix.

I think part of it for me is that I tend to think like Karl in certain situations but he just takes it to a whole new level.

Caught some "portlandia" shows this weekend on IFC, freaking hilarious. its like a mix btw arrested development (style wise) and mr. show (format comedy approach only without the joke misfires/ sometimes cross strikes out for me)

Olivia Munn is still such a dork too, which I love (Attack of the Show in case you didn't know). I laugh as much at that show as I do the typical Thursday night lineup (Community, Office, 30 Rock). ESPECIALLY if you're married or in a serious relationship, you'll TOTALLY connect with this show. |

I've tried SO hard to like that show because I hate when I give up on a show and a year later people are like, "Dude, haven't you been watching?!" I've seen three episodes and I don't think I've laughed once. Is it just one of those off-humor things that I just don't get or is it REALLY that unfunny? |
