No thanks to Nelson. Stay retired. I want to see Sims and Davis get as many reps as possible. Hopefully we can also get a stud with one of our 3rd rounders.

Has it been discussed that Clinton-Dix signed a one year deal for 3.25 mil?
pretty cheap for a starter. |

Does their system matches well with missed tackles and poor angles ? ... Ok I'm out, sorry, he really pissed me off last season. |

Here's how cbssports.com ranked our FA class:
30. Washington Redskins Here's a quick breakdown of what the Redskins did in free agency: They're back at square one with their quarterback situation, they overpaid for Landon Collins, they gave a multi-year contract to a running back who will soon be 34 and they gave $4 million to Ereck Flowers, which by itself qualifies them to rank this low. They also have apparently not been filling in their head coach about their free agency plans. What do you think of this? |

I can't believe the Redskins aren't the worst. If you look at what was gained and what was lost the team is worse off than when free agency started. The same team that finished the season 1-6. If Case Keenum was any good the Redskins wouldn't have acquired him so cheaply. |
Re: Redskins Free Agency Thread
Bruce should be fired for putting us in this situation again. We do it over and over...never ends.

The Broncos chose Joe Flacco over Case Keenum.. Let that sink in

And they also drafted Paxton Lynch and got Osweiler, Flacco was picked cause he won a SB. |

It has more to do with they knew Keenum wasn't the answer. I don't see any way he plays better with our sad roster |

Let's not pretend that John Elway, as good a quarterback as he was, has any talent with regard to evaluating quarterbacks. With the exception of Peyton Manning (duh), he has failed continuously at finding one. Case Keenum had no chance last year. Their receiving corps was worse than ours, and they had no TE to speak of. |

Sanders and Sutton are both better than anyone we have, they also had a great run game last yr. There is no excuse for Keenum, he was bad in 2018. I'm not trying to bash the guy all the time but he is just not very good. |
Re: Redskins Free Agency Thread
Elway sucks at evaluating QBs, and Keenum is a journeyman who had no business getting the contract he did from Denver last year.

It costs $3.2 million if he makes the team. And $1.5 million if he is cut. He will be cut if he stinks in the exhibition games. |

He will be cut if he stinks in the exhibition games.[/quote] Let's be honest here, it would be a decent evaluation deal if there was no guaranteed money. We committed cap space to a guy I would feel uncomfortable with as a backup given our starting tackles' injury history. |

I doubt any make an impact on an NFL roster. Might find a couple 3rd stringers and special teams players. |

This is interesting.....the Redskins don't see a WR worthy of being taken at 15.....

Finley usually has accurate information....but I refuse to believe that N'Keal Harry or Marquise Brown are not worthy of the 15th pick. |

Neither are in this draft class. the majority of the top talent is on the defensive side. Drafting either WR at 15 would mean passing on a better defensive player. |

That could mean one thing then.....Ferrell, Polite, or Burns at 15....if Greedy Williams is still on the board we should take him...... I don't think Harry or Brown or Metcalf will be there in round 2 when we pick again....hopefully Hakeem Butler is there for us. |

For example, we could trade 15 for Rosen + the Cards 2nd round pick (33 overall). Or we could trade our 2nd for Rosen and then decide to trade back from 15 to recoup the pick. I think a WR would definitely be in play if we traded back in the mid-late 20s |
