i was walking my dog outside when i heard an adult woman neighbor yelling at a child, called them ugly, said "we're not related, you wish you were related to me". also called the child a "tallywacker".

i couldn't tell which apartment it was coming from, best i could do in the moment was loudly state "that's evil."

These muth!r$uck8ng pistachios in the bag that resisted splitting open during the process of being roasted and salted. These obstinate f$cks. I'm gonna set them to side and mail them back for trade in. If I pay for 4 lbs of pistachios I want the full 4.

Has anybody heard of this music group called "Pentatonix"? Mother of everything holy. This has to be the most annoying pile of shit of all time. Usually around Christmas these fucks start showing up on the morning shows and even primetime performing their version of music. Its got to be the worst thing ever performed. And they are always smiling or laughing...its not funny, not one bit. If anyone wants to get together and take these folks out, Im all ears.

My niece loves them, she's 8 so I'll give her a pass but yeah it's downright awful stuff.

Been working (successfully) a case for two years, and it's now being heard by State's high court.

I am informed that, despite succeeding in the first level of appeals and knowing the issues & relevant case law in depth, the case involves too big an issue for me to be handling. As such, I am no longer assigned to it and folks who are clearly much, much smarter than me will be arguing it.

Been doing this sh** for 25 years, but, once again, just not good enough for the folks in the ivory towers who have checked off all the right boxes on their resume.

That's some shit Joe, I wish I had a better answer for you but it seems common that no matter what job you work, higher ups are always willing to take credit for your hard work. If you got the case this far I see no reason you couldn't have gotten it all the way.

Re: What REALLY grinds your gears?

So the car konks out(2007 Camry 150,000 mi) get it to the repair shop and they have a decent rep so I leave it in their hands but I have an idea what it is.Call back four hours later ....it's a battery,I ask so not altinator or starter,I am told flat out no.Buy the new battery and the car lasted two days and then won't start ,have it towed back to the shop,it was the altinator so now the "new battery is dead".
They tried to get me to pay for everything and full price for everything too!Long story short it is now fixed right and it cost them a price of a tow(75$) and a $150 dollar discount on labor and a five year warranty on the battery ,car now works fine but why can't I find a repair man I can trust?
