So he's missed 4 games the last 3 seasons... Sorry but I don't see where there's a problem with injuries.
So he's just submitted himself to be a safe passer now? Injuries/age has impacted his game in my opinion.

So you seriously thing he's worth the 4th pick in the 2nd round, and lets face it, possible a high 3rd? That's quality picks there, possible starting OL or other potential needs...
Heck what if he only stays for a year?!?
Why would ANY team give us anything major for Campbell now. Maybe before we could say oh, we will just keep him. Now, if we don't trade him... wow,

Now, if we don't trade him... WE HAVE THE BEST BACK-UP IN THE LEAGUE!! YAAAAAAAAAAY....
I wonder what all the lovers would be saying if it was Cerrato who made this same move?

I'm still undecided, but I'm leaning towards not really liking this, especially since we'll probably give him a lucrative extension as well. With this move, I now forsee at least a few current players traded before the draft.
That's a good point but I guess that we have to realize that new coaches want a guy that they're more comfortable with. It happens quite a lot.. the compensation is the main thing that I'm trying to get over.

Interesting theory I think Mechanix had on using McNabb to move to #1 to get Bradford. Don't see it happening though.

Major props to Jay Glazer for being on top of this. He's one of the best in the biz. I shouldn't have doubted him.

I don't know yet how I feel about this. I have a great deal of respect for McNabb, but I'm concerned that this could mean good-bye for Sexy Rexy! Seriously though, I think McNabb has two to three strong years left in him. And hopefully here he'll get the run support he didn't get in Philly. I gotta think they're still looking at a QB toward the later rounds though.

I'm not usually too surprised by moves the Redskins make since I generally get a heads up on things that are brewing. I would say, with very little hesitation, that I have never been as surprised about a Redskins move in the last 10 years as this one.

So, do we like this better than getting Cutler last year?

So much for rebuilding, we are going for it this year. I wish now they would have went for Dansby and Rolle.
The relevant question though is how many passes MORE will he throw compared to McNabb.

If McNabb lasts longer here than Kolb does in Philly, we probably end up winning this trade. In all other scenarios, we probably lose it.

The gamble is that we can get better production from the 33.5 year old than they can get from their 26.5 year old. It's a gamble that we'll lose most of the time. But you only have to win it once, I suppose.
I'll measure this trade by one statistic: How many games we win with McNabb as starter. That's it. If we get two playoff seasons out of him, then it was well worth it.
I don't get the logic of some not wanting to bring McNabb here, but wanting us to draft a rookie that wouldn't have an impact doesn't make sense to me.

The fact remains, there will be quarterbacks available in the draft from now until eternity.
Yeah, Sanchez didn't have an impact. Stafford didn't have an impact. Eli didn't have an impact his first year. So on and so forth.

Why are some of you folks mad about McNabb? That was a great move, sorry JC lovers but he wasn't going to be Shanny's QB. He knew it and so did the FO. As for Buffalo, I bet we could get a 3rd Rd pick for JC. Also there are still talks out there saying Cooley could be dealt. We are not done making moves, I trust Shanny/Allen all day!

Very much. Now all we have to do is sign T.O and our offense will be set.

Not going to get myself a McNabb jersey, but this is undeniable:

We'll have to agree to disagree in regard to injuries. Again they haven't been a major issue for him since his knee in 2006.

Is there a rookie in the 2nd that was going to give us the same impact as McNabb?

Why would he only be here one year?

Super ironic video. Now I understand it. We're not trying to tackle him, we're trying to save him:
