Celtics are one of the deepest teams in the NBA. I expected a blowout since we were missing Yi and Wall. Even with them in, it would have been a really tough game.

I know I was not trying to rub it in, like I said I really want to see Wall vs. Rondo. |

What a win by the Wizards tonight, one point almost down by 30 and overcame it all. Wall with the smart move to make contact on his 3 pointer at the end of the game to tie it up and force OT, then Young to get wide open and drain the 3. Good D at the end as well plus a lucky miss haha.
Glad to see the Wizards getting more people in there. |

These were games that the Wiz would always lose in past seasons. McGee was a beast on the boards tonight- if he can sustain this level of play, we've finally got a force down low. Nice to see Wall send it to OT with three clutch FT's and NY with the tres dagger to ice it. |
Re: Washington Wizards 2010-2011 Ongoing Thread
Wall rebounded tremendously from his 0-5 first half. And thank goodness for Jrue Holliday's boneheaded mistake hitting Wall as he went up for the 3, unless Wall actually hits that shot and Holliday doesn't touch him the game would've been over. And that was a nice clutch game winner by Nick Young in OT, I couldn't believe he hit that. I'd like to see Gil get comfortable enough to start looking for the game winner himself because I know he has that ability but all the same I can't complain if another guy gets it done (not looking at you Andray). Great game and great comeback by the Wiz.

Actually, I think Wall actually made a pretty crafty decision. Holiday was trying to send him to the line for 2 (to prevent the 3 pt attempt) and Wall saw that. As soon as he touched him, he released the wild shot to get 3 attempts at the charity stripe. |

Oh I know he made the smart move to go up in the air for the wild 3, because if he hadn't than we would've only got 2 shots, so you are right to credit John Wall for doing the smart thing there. I feel like that was mostly Holliday's fault but Wall definitely deserves credit for doing the smart thing and getting up in the air so they called 3 shots. |

Hey now... no J-Wobble in the lineup. Plus the Heat were about to spontaneously combust if they didn't finally win a game (even if it was against a sub-.500 team). Just be happy with McGee and Young's development... Gil's looking like an increased stock value, lately. |

Not too disappointed by it. I heard the Heat are like 9-1 against sub .500 teams, so it's not a big shocker. As long as they keep stinking it up against the better teams in the league, I'll be faithful that they can stink it up when the chips are down and the playoffs are on the line. |

McGee is an athletic freak and Young is looking like he could be a mainstay at the 2 spot yet the fact of the matter is as a team they struggle on a night to night basis. Do they need a bunch of new players or do they need 2 or 3 more years? |

I'd love to see Gilbert stay. I see no advantage Wizards in a trade of this nature, especially to the magic. |
Re: Washington Wizards 2010-2011 Ongoing Thread
Seems like we've talking to the Magic for a few months now about Vince Carter, with Arenas off and on being part of the conversation. I think what's holding the Magic up is they're waiting to see if there's any way they can make a move for Chris Paul

Leonsis is saying no truth to the rumor and seems rather emphatic about it.Wizards Insider - Ted Leonsis on Arenas trade rumor: "It isn't true"
If the Magic is serious about Chris Paul, wonder what that would mean for Jameer Nelson. |
