And no one throws a back shoulder pass better than Rodgers.
I wonder how he and his receivers practice this. It's ridiculous how they pull it off so often. |

we dont know what that is because we havent had recievers that could pull that off in so long |
Re: Around the NFL week 10
I understand when people say Tebow sucks because of his performance on the field. I dont understand when people say Tebow sucks because of the type of person he is. People bitch when an athlete gets in trouble by saying stoopid shit and getting arrested, doing stupid shit, very understandable.
Why do people bitch about a guy going out saying and doing positive things? I dunno, i guess that old saying rings true, hatters gone hatte |

Re: Around the NFL week 10
This is normally said in a negative manner, but in Green Bays instance, it is just the opposite.
The Packers are playing a different game than the other 31 teams in the league. PERIOD. Everything seems so routine and so easy. No one breaks a sweat, they just go about their business. They make it look easy. And no one throws a back shoulder pass better than Rodgers.
Does anyone notice that when the Packers make a routine play - - say stopping a runner for a 3 yard gain or catching a 5 yard out pattern to the sidelines - - they do not start posing on the field or start jawing at the opponent? Moral: If you really are a good team, the only things you need to celebrate are the outstanding plays because there are so many "merely good plays" in a game that they become no big deal... |

Also he doesn't really force his beliefs on others, rather it's more of a "this is who I am" type deal. Either way so many athletes with his fame and notoriety could easily become arrogant and self centered but Tebow has remained humble. For that I respect him. As a Quarterback though I think he's terrible at this point and the "winner" explanation is used way to often to justify subpar play. Granted he's only played a few games but until he learns to pass he'll be a liability to his team that will have to win in spite of his play. |

Now, I don't think our issues are T.O./Chad Ochocinco/R. Moss/Insert-Trouble-Player-Here type of situation, but...if we brag so much about how Shanahan is changing the culture of this team, why do these little things keep happening? Why doesn't MS and Haslett tell D. Hall to shut the hell up and play with a cool head? Why don't they tell Laron Landry to stop flexing and celebrating after tackling a guy that just converted for a 1st down? Have they gotten in T. Williams' face about the fact that in two games he has caused game-changing personal foul penalties (although they did bench him in the second game)? As I've said, I don't think these guys are locker room troublemakers such as Haynesworth, but I would think that the coaching staff would nip these things in the bud. |

Or they view being religious as a sign of backwards stupidity. To see Tebow succeed is seeing a part of their personal ethics(or values) violated. I have seen similar reactions by some folks on hfboards on Rocco Grimaldi. |
