It's really a two year deal. We just make it a 5 year deal so the signing bonus can be spread out over 5 years instead of 2. The contract automatically voids after 2 years. We did the same thing with Todd Collins in 2008. Since our recent cap screw job, this needed to be done.

Like the signings so far. Lot.of.competition for.spots during camp and such at the WR position. Looking forward to more free agents and honestly, hopefully fletcher and I wish Landry but that's just not gonna happen, I know alot of ppl here don't like him for us but, I do.

Ya seems like overkill. Doesn't bode well for my boy Santana.

My guess is they cut Gaffney soon, Moss after June 1st, or both.

Completely agree. Garcon im happy with...Morgan at a good price-im happy with...Royal? not some much. guess we've given up on our WR draft picks already, oh well.

Can someone explain to me this teams obsession with WR's? I assume that they don't care to try and see what the guys they drafted can do. Hope this works out but I'm very skeptical. Garcon is kind of an average wr, maybe a little above average. I have no idea what they see in Royal or Morgan.
