I am not one to defend Dan Snyder, but do you really someone from the Stadium concessions management called Dan Snyder to get his ok with selling expired beer? Whats next, the toilet paper ran out in your stall and Dan Snyder did not change it? Concessions are run by an outside company like Aramark or Levy Restaurants. When it comes to the beer sold at arenas or stadiums it is a big contract with Budweiser or Coors Etc. This terribel move was made by a mid level director of food concessions. Not a billionaire team owner. |
Re: Giants Game Negatives
Our QB just had 4 INTs and 1 fumble in one game. Our defense gave up a shit ton of points for the 2nd consecutive week while providing no real pressure. Our special teams is still shit. As a team we had 6 fucking turnovers. We now face two of the harder teams in the NFL the upcoming weeks with a possibility of starting out 1-5............and yet....
......here we are here discussing the god damn concession booth and whether the beer it's selling is fresh. :Flush: :laughing- |
Re: Giants Game Negatives
I am not turning in my fan card permanently, but these jackasses have given me literally nothing to cheer for over these last 25 years (wasn't really old enough to remember the 91 SB team) and seeing as how we won't beat either Seattle or Arizona, I might just skip both of those games (and the 10 after that and find something else to do with my Sundays) because life is too short to subject myself to pure bullshit every fall and be happy with it.

All they have to do is be competitive in one of those games and fans will start believing again. Short term memories |

I have made and tasted many a homebrewed and commercial beer which was not filtered or otherwise treated (sometimes still had active yeast), and they were fine long after the brewing. I had one yeast-in porter seven years after brewing and it still was awesome. .
Let me ask you, do you know why most beers come in bottles of color ? Do you know what skunk beer is ?As Matty said the dates on beer are 95% sell buy dates ,doesn't mean the beer is bad just must be sold by this date . As of right now, they haven't earned that patience from me.l One thing I will say, why did we franchise Orakpo, talk about money that could have went to a safety and an offensive lineman. |

Because pass rushers don't grow on trees. I don't think Rak is elite either, but he's better than a combo of Phillip Daniels and Renaldo Wynn. Does anybody remember those days? A washed up Jason Taylor? All those years of having no pass rush should remind us how hard it is to have a good pass rush. So I can see why we put the tag on Rak, but in hindsight it's clear that money could've been better used elsewhere. At this rate we probably won't even offer him an extension in the offseason. |

Clearly with Rak we still have huge and.....unpredictable pass rush problems. I don't know that I advocate dumping Rak. However, I advocate another route or at least augment our current alignment as.........it ain't where we need to be. I advocate "fixing it", and have no sacred cows....Rak, Kerrigan, etc. F...n Ely didn't get touched? That doesn't work |
Discussing Cousins INTs, here is a good breakdown on the INTs during the game.
Break it Down: Kirk Cousins' mechanical failures led to disaster against Giants - NFL - SI.com The problem in this game is we got behind and Cousins tried to play the role of Super Man without having the skills to back it up. He need to play his game and take what the defense gave him. Even the best QBs in the league know that forcing stuff generally never works out. That was the difference in this game and the last two games. The previous two, we saw Kirk playing to his strengths and taking what the defense gave. If he can do that, we can win. If he tries to do what he did this past Thursday, we are going to be drafting in the top 3.
Exactly what i said a page back. People are delusional |

I remember but that guy is just so inconsistent man, I just feel that 11 million dollars could have gotten 2 or more defenders that would have the same impact as him, and I hope we dont offer him a contract, but all that means is that he will go to New England or something, switch back to DE and average 12-13 sacks a season for his career. |

Berghoff Beer
I wasn't disagreeing with your assertion of bottle color. Of course light harms beer, so a darker bottle is better. I obviously was disagreeing with your factually incorrect account of "unpasteurized" beer going bad after 30 days. |

Any of you film watchers seen Rak consistently add another move to his bullrush this year? I haven't but haven't watched the games again. |

What are you talking about? That article details instance after instance where Cousins could have completed the pass but threw an interception instead because he was so inaccurate with his throws...which is precisely what you have argued against. |
