32 years old is what I see and coming off a less than stellar year.
I personally would rather see us develop younger players who are less expensive & have a higher upside.
Unfortunately not everyone you sign is gonna be 25 and entering their prime, he is a good blocker and as a 2nd string TE for a reasonable 1 or 2 year contract, I will gladly take him. |

Yep, Gresham is 4 years younger. One telling thing about this is that Scott McL had Davis in San Fran. Gruden had Gresham in Cincy. I don't remember hearing anything bad about Gresham before, so maybe it's just an expected dollar amount needed to sign a back up. But I'm with you...I would take Gresham over Davis at this point. This could all be a moot point if Niles comes back healthy. |

Redskins deal with Kedric Golston, $1.005 million, $985,000 salary, $20,000 first game roster bonus, up to $60K playtime incentives
Why? Its time for Kedric to retire. He had a nice career but he brings nothing on the field. |

Isn't that exactly what it was last year? I feel 99% of our d line upgrades are gonna come from the draft |
Re: Redskins Free Agency 2016
Just read this on CSN, of the 21 draft picks from the 2011 and 2012 draft, only Ryan Kerrigan and Kirk Cousins are still with the team.
That's not a good thing. |

there is no guaranteed money, no cost if they cut him... if plan A, B, and C fail he makes the team at the NFL minimum |

San Diego Chargers Edit When the Chargers drafted him with the 49th overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, Reyes became Nashua High School North’s first NFL draft pick and the first player from Nashua to be drafted since the Cincinnati Bengals selected tackle Herb Webster in the fifth round of the 1988 NFL Draft. He was also the highest drafted defensive lineman in school history.[6] In his rookie season, Reyes led the Chargers’ defensive line with 19 quarterback pressures and 15 quarterback hits, and he finished the year third on the team with 5.5 sacks and nine tackles for loss. He recorded his first two NFL sacks against future Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning and on Dec. 23 during a road win against the New York Jets, racked up 3.5 sacks, the most by a Chargers rookie in 26 years. Reyes closed out his initial campaign by earning All-Rookie honors from ESPN.com.[7] In 2013, Reyes was named starter right next to Corey Liuget on the defensive line. Reyes went on to play all 16 games as a starter and managed to collect 34 tackles, 5 sacks, and 2 passes defended. |

Sorry, I just woke up.....the 'skins actually signed someone?

Re: Redskins Free Agency 2016
Just watched a few highlights of Reyes. Very big guy, 6'4" and 300 pounds, fits the mold of big and physical that McC likes.
I'm sure we're not done at D Line but he has been a starter for three years, you could see him taking Hatcher's spot, or letting Ricky Jean come into Hatcher's starting spot and having Reyes as the 4th man in the rotation. I'd still like to see the big beefy guy for the NT spot. That could easily come from our 1st rounder. Baker could move to the nose but that'd be a bit of a shame because I really liked how disruptive he was from the end position. |
