Hip injury. Hope it's nothing serious. He's underrated IMO, and can play 3 positions. I could see him start over Trai Turner if healthy. |

Bring back the people's corner!! Jimmy Moreland was just cut by the Eagles.

I think we'll have plenty of other - better options for Special Teams. |

He's better than William "toast" Jackson. |
Re: 2022 Commanders Training Camp discussion
LOL, no way. I know he was a popular guy here, but there's a reason why he was released, rode the pine in Houston, and has now been released again in the first cuts.
Crazy how Robinson has went from a questionable pick by lots of us (all fans/analyst, not just here) to looking like a great pick that will be a big part of our offense.
I still question it. Could have got a RB in the later rounds that can do the same things that BR can do. He is basically a one cut and go type of runner. Nothing fancy, he's going to move the chains but he isn't a home run hitter. He isn't special catching it out of the backfield or great in space. I just think this organization is obsessed with Bama players. It's lazy scouting imo. I used the Shanahans as an example when it came to running backs. I would never take one in the first 3 rounds of a draft. They have had so many no name runners that got a 1,000 yards. |

The only thing I might question about picking him might be the round in which he was taken. Doc Walker compared him to Stephen Davis. |
Re: 2022 Commanders Training Camp discussion
The only time I take a RB in the first 3 rounds if he is a Marshall Faulk, Tomlinson type. Those guys were elite runners obviously, but also they were elite pass catchers as well. You could split them out and they could literally run all the wr routes, so they were difficult to defend. In the league today this is the only type of backs that I'd want.
The BR type of backs to me are sort of a dime a dozen. You can find them anywhere really, deep in the draft or UFA. Henry is the exception obviously. But the few runs BR had he hit the damn hole hard and moved the pile. No messing around so that was nice to see. |

They def have a lot of great players no doubt. But they have had their fair share of busts. Or overhyped players that are just sort of meh in the pros. |

That's it... Is he "special" at this or that? We'll see once he gets regular season reps against NFL starters. Right now you can't say he is or isn't. There sure seems to be a lot of buzz about him though. Was he picked too early? You can ask that question every year with every team's picks. To me, if he ends up being the starting RB, which could happen sooner than later, then I think it doesn't matter when he was drafted. I'm not sure where you get that the Shanahan's don't draft RBs in the first three rounds. While they have found some gems outside the first three rounds, they have both definitely drafted several RBs in the first three rounds. |

Although Mike might be the exception - without checking, I don't remember Mike drafting one in the first 3 rounds. |

I said if skinsfan69 were a GM I wouldn't draft any...lol. But I am obviously not an NFL GM or coach. Shanahan's have had a lot of success w/ backs that were taken late... Mike Anderson, Terrell Davis, Arian Foster, Alfred Morris, Olandis Gary to name a few.. |
