Re: Lavar says he was misquoted - he wants to remain a redskin for his entire career
Im a huge Lavar fan but this whole thing doesn't sit well with us as fans. We all love watching him play and couldn't wait to see what he could do in this system. Lavar made a statement regarding fan support like Ray Lewis. Ray is a free-lancer but he rairly misses tackles and plays hard and helps coach his fellow teammates. This is something I never saw Lavar do while in Denver sitting under a coat just like in KC he sits and sulks. To me if I was Dan,Joe, or Greg I would be lighting a fire under his ass. Lavar is a very emotional player and I listen to him on the John Thompson show and he is a cronic listner to the critics. Lavar loves seeing his Jersey and the fans cheering for him then why did it take so long for you to release your rights as a member of the NFLPA. You should have loved your new contract because in there Dan Snyder saw your earning potential and through that in there. He make millions and so doe's his advisors so I ask them this READ ALL PRINTED DOCUMENTS AND SIGN HERE>__________

Re: Lavar says he was misquoted - he wants to remain a redskin for his entire career
Have any one of you guys read the article in the post today from Wise. Sums up alot of crap going on inside Redskin Park. I think they are treating him like crap, just like other players in the past. You get on the bad side of danny, and out the door you go. Brian Mitchell, champ, Lav Coles,(although this one has been awesome for us) now LaVar. Wouldn't you think a guy as disciplined and hard nosed as Marty and his brother would have said something about LaVar being careless or undisciplined if he truley was that way. I do believe LaVar likes to make plays using his athletic ability, it would be a waste if he didn't. However, how much of that is contributed to new defensive coordinator every year for 5 years. Maybe some. Maybe he doesn't pick up things as quickly as others, and plays on ability alot. I dont know, not on the field to see what is actually happening. Taylor is out of position alot, I dont hear about him getting berated on the sideline or in the locker room. I just dont get it. Hopefully LaVar will not walk away from the game,, and play for someone else. Just not for somebody in our division.
Lavar is like a dog chasing a stick, all you have to do is fake the throw and the dog runs all over the place looking for it. I would love to play against Lavar twice a year, that would be 2 times a year our offense will pile up the points with him constantly out of position, and all around ignorant play. |

Re: Lavar says he was misquoted - he wants to remain a redskin for his entire career
on the JT show right now
on the article- I had no clue that was the type of article that would be written He asked me if i thought if it was my last game at FedEx. Lavar then said something along the lines of that he told him that he might be here and he might not but the guy wrote only the not. I can't believe he would wright something like that. I would NEVER want to do anything to hurt this team. We have a lot of momentum and i hate that anything about me might cause a distraction I didn't want any of the attention People blaim it on me and i'm not a writer or editor. I didn't ask for that article to be written I honestly believe that certain things are written to add to the conterversy. |

Re: Lavar says he was misquoted - he wants to remain a redskin for his entire career
If Lavar restructures after this season and takes a HUGE pay cut, then I will welcome him back as a Redskin next year, just as I did Mark Brunell this year. Hopefully there will be a similar result.
