Or waking up at like 1-2am, cuz I end up falling back asleep around 5, and my alarm goes off at 5:30. How I wish I could just sleep 7-8 hours straight and feel refreshed, but that rarely if ever happens.
To be honest, it's been a really long time since I've woken up, feeling totally refreshed. Like I'm always a little beat in the mornings, then around 9:30 I'm good until around 3.

I'll sit at home, watch TV and around 9 be like, "ZOMG! I'm sooo tired, let's go lay in bed." Then I lay in bed and watch movies until around midnight or 1. I wish I could go back to the days of college where I slept until noon and it was the most glorious sleep of all time.

I have a 5 yr old and she pretty much has been sleeping through the night for the past four years. If she did wake up it was the wifes job to get up not mine. I'm the king of my Castle.

You know what grinds my gears? People who bitch about not getting any sleep because they have kids. Try losing two within a year, that'll keep you up all night. Would you rather stay up all night because of that?

Sorry dude, you are right. My son has a lot of sleep disorders that I have talked about before so when I am up all night I try to think of folks at St. Judes and how how much they would love to be in my shoes.

For the record I was not bitching about it I was just saying if you think you have it tough sleeping now try it with kids.

Also, I don't feel guilty about complaining about my kids from time to time, I don't know a parent that doesn't. Doesn't mean I don't want them, doesn't mean I don't love them with everything I have and sure as heck doesn't lessen your pain if I complain about them or not.

I don't know how lashing out at other parents eases your pain but if it does you are welcome to pick on me.

People that walk on the wrong side of the hall.

People that walk in groups on the bike trail, but don't have the common sense to understand the rules are basically like they are on the road. Stay to the right, pass on the left.

People that talk/drive while on their cell phones.

Well, when you are 6'3" and 330, it becomes more than a shoulder check. More like a body check. :D

The best part is when I'm on my bike moving 18-22mph.....I flat out told kids to move the hell out of my way. They did. If my ass hits you going that fast, you are going to be in a world of hurt.

I've wanted one since I saw them in an episode of Workaholics, but they are right when they say it only works if one person in your crew wears one. If everyone wears one it loses its appeal haha.

For my apparel choice I'd have to go with men's peacoats. My sister got me one for X-mas on a great deal from Target and I wear it on certain occasions (i.e. when I'm not dressed in work clothes or look filthy), and it feels like everytime I wear it in public I see a whole bunch of other men wearing theirs too, and we all give each other dirty stares like, "hey brah, why you swagger jackin me brah. Huh? Whatsup? Whatsup whatsup?" lol. Especially in certain places too, like my local Wegmans, and Potomac Mills.

It's hard to look good in a hat, other than a ball cap or a winter knit hat. You pretty much have to be a celebrity, even then it's still a douchey look.

Well you can tell what kind of person they are by what type of hat they're wearing. I only wear hats when it's needed. I.e. if it's so cold outside that my head is cold, and it wasn't a special occasion, I'll rock a beanie. If if I'm going to an early afternoon Redskins game in September and idw the sun in my eyes, I'll wear the safari Redskins hat that I have. I couldn't ever be one of those people that would wear a beanie if it was mid 50's and sunny outside, i.e. the kind of person that would wear one to promote their image instead of using it to as a means to keep warm, etc.

Yeah I don't get the beanie in warm weather thing either. My head gets hot and itchy in about 5 minutes even when it's cold out. That would drive me nuts.

They usually accompany it with a long sleeve undershirt underneath their regular t-shirt (even though it's mid 50's), looking like they stepped right of out of a 1997 N'sync video.

LOL, one of my old coworkers does that. The guy gets constantly made fun of behind his back for wearing it inside offices.

Speaking of which, he includes a picture of himself in his email signatures. I told him that makes him look like a total tool. Not only that, the picture is like 10 years ago, and 30 lbs. ago. Anyone else think that's a douche move?

That image of you and the peacoat is hilarious. I hadn't noticed anyone thinking they're douchey, but now you're going to make me pay extra close attention. :P

SO I'm driving through the ATM to get a little cash and I am behind only one car. I think....cool this will be quick.
About 10 minutes later, punching 62 buttons and exchanging paper...stuff with the machine 6 or 8 times, she's done. What the hell can she be doing? Making a pizza.....printing out a revised copy of War and Peace?
I get my turn. 3 buttons and 32 seconds later....I'm done...WTF

:laughing-

Yeah I hate that. If you're going to deposit a check, make sure you have everything ready to go by the time you approach the machine. Don't stand there, continually pressing the need more time button, while you sign the check, smooth it out, inspect it, check the time, etc. especially not when there's multiple people in line.

Re: What REALLY grinds your gears?

This really doesn't grind my gears but I saw someone who it does really bad.

If you go to planet fitness they have a lunk alarm. Video shows it, basically if you drop weights a alarm goes off.

Planet Fitness: Initiate Lunk Alarm - YouTube

Well at my PF they have universal machines as well as free weights. There are two universal chest presses. For some reason on both machines if you put it on 80 pounds the 90 pound plate sticks then falls off as you lift. This makes a loud crashing noise and the alarm goes off. I just try not to use 80 pounds and all is good.

Well today some dude who is always on those presses made it happen and the alarm went off. He just went ballistic screaming about how they need to fix it. It was too funny. A few people clapped because it is true they need to fix it.

One thing I've noticed a lot at red lights is (and I'm trying to not be sexist here) women constantly looking through their purse. My wife and I notice at least 2-3 people doing this EVERY morning when we drive into town.

What are you looking for? :cheeky-sm
