you shouldnt be. that is such a dumb rule. I dont even pay attention. but there are ways to get out of it but I am not supposed to tell you. But I will If you have insurance on your phone and you want to get out of the contract just break the phone on purpose and say that you dont want a new phone and you want to opt out and that should reduce the "fine" but if you came into my store I would wipe it completely. |

Re: The Never Ending Thread
going to take a look at a boat today. My friend is moving to Brunswick, GA, and her 20k+ boat is a bot of a pain to haul, so she said she'll sell it to me for what she owes which is only 9k.
I've always wanted a boat, but I don't know if this is the best time since we are looking to move. |
Re: The Never Ending Thread
What kind of boat is it? Pontoon, ski, or bass?

The way she describes it, it's more of a ski boat. In my mind it's like a bayliner. It has the area up front for people to sit or lay out, and in the back you have coolers and such. I think she said it was a 19 footer. Since I haven't seen it, and (no offense, she's a woman describing a boat) I'm not sure what to expect. I do not want a fishing boat. I want more of a speed / ski boat with areas to relax / cookout and layout. |

Well, it's easy to describe a pontoon boat, so it sounds more like a ski boat. Pontoons are nice to have if you want to cruise, party or spend a lot of time on the water in. Ski boats are better for recreation, but not as much fun for spending the day on. I personally would not own a boat unless I had a place close to or on the water. My parents live in a lake community and have a pontoon, but they don't have a boat slip to park the boat in. It's a pain in the ass having to take it in and out everyday. |

haha, yeah...there is no way it's a pontoon. [quote]Pontoons are nice to have if you want to cruise, party or spend a lot of time on the water in. A lot jet skis on it. I really want a yacht. I'm not refering to one of those monsters, I am referring to a boat that has a sleeping section underneath. We commonly think of a yacht as some luxury for the rich and a boat that is 3 times bigger than it needs to be...but they make sensible yachts now, plenty 50k or under. You can even get a nice big one used for well under 100k. But I don't make enough money to allow that. Thus I am looking at a 9k boat. :D |

You may end up deciding to move somewhere that's not close to water and then what are going to do? Just a thought. If I were going to buy anything it would be a sea doo. You can have a lot of fun hanging out and playing on the water and they're easier to maintain. I wouldn't mind having a 3 seater. Those things ride like cadillacs on the water. |

That's actually great advice, thank you. But all places I am looking to move to have water near them. (lakes / rivers / even ocean) A factor is that I can get this for 9k, then turn around and sell it for 14k or so because I have the time to sell it while my friend is moving on Tuesday. A boat works for me. I'm off to go see it...I'll see you guys later. |
Re: The Never Ending Thread
I wasn't impressed with the boat...it was basically a big fishing boat, and that's not what i am interested in. It was nice, but not my thing.
How was everyone's night? |
Re: The Never Ending Thread
Ok I need a woman's POV. So Jsarno and LB this is for you. My GF has been hinting to me what she wants for her B-day. A bracelet and necklace combo that is like 400 dollars. I have the money but I want to save it for right now even though her B-Day is August 23rd. Now do you think she would be upset if I didnt get it for her.
