Yeah, I hear ya on that one, ordinarily I'm not a claustrophobic person but everytime I take an MRI after a little bit or so I start getting a little panicky and I feel like I want to flail about but I can't lol.
I was doing fine until they moved me into a hole that happened to be the exact size of my shoulders in width. My shoulders were touching the sides, and then I started breathing pretty heavy. That hole is just so damn small.

So I guess no one knows anything about how disability works?
honesty EJ is fine, we need a bit of defensive help and consistent play.
Some think EJ has lost the team, but I think Grunfeld needs to do a better job putting the right pieces in place for Jordan and his offense. They need a young point guard for starters. Not to mention an enforcer, and a big man who can create his own shot facing the basket. Now maybe they could find some of those answers among young guys like Young, McGuire, Pecherov, and Blatche but I have yet to see it. And I don't know if guys like Jamison and Arenas (not to mention Daniels) want to wait around for it.

I can't answer that question about disability but yeah I know what you're talking about. When they make you sit on that tray and then they slide the tray back into the middle of that big machine and you have to sit there. I'm a pretty big guy as well and it was pretty cramped in there and after about 30 seconds I was like, shiiiiiit this really isn't cool, I need to get the hell out of this thing while I can lolol.

As for the Wizards, well I was reading the ESPN article about tonight's game between the Celts and the Cavs, and I was suprised about how well they shut LBJ down. EJ (if we meet up with the Cavs in the playoffs again next year) should watch this game because it seems like they really forced LBJ off his game.

And I saw two interesting lines at the bottom of the article as well, the first one said

"Cleveland shot 18 of the game's first 22 free throws"

Reminds me of our first game against the Cavs, and

"Cassell was called for a flagrant foul when he kept James from a free throw with 5½ minutes left in the half. The replay seemed to indicate that James enhanced the damage"

ahahaha. Now why would he do that?

why do Washington fans have such a hard one for James? did you guys bitch about a washed up Jordan getting those calls when he played in D.C.? i personally think James is a top 3 player, and pretty much a class act. hell, there isn't a single player in the NBA that ever commits a foul

I found out afterward that they could have given me a pill to calm me down for the procedure, but they didn't even look at their own damn questionaire to see that I am claustrophobic. Nice huh?

About the fouls...I thought all fouls on Lebron were legit in game 1. I thought the flagrant foul was a bit excessive, but I totally understand why the refs called it.
By the way, you can't complain that James "enhanced" the damage when 99% of players do regular flops. The other 1% will soon find themselves on the bench. They all act up the fouls...it's a part of the game.

The Celts played like crap in game 1, but they came out with the win anyway. Hopefully the Cavs will continue to play like crap too.

Was that sarcasm? If you actually are serious, then my b. And I have such a hardon for James because he's the best, man. He's better than Walt Chamberlain, Magic Johnson, and Michael Jordan combined. The last time a team tried to stop him he just started shooting laser beams with his eyes at anyone in his path and he didn't ever have to worry about fouls because he could never do no wrong. [/end sarcasm]

@Js: Really? I had no idea they could do that either lol. Next time you have to take one you should definitely let them know about that, I'd def. take that pill too if I knew I had the option lol.

And you're probably right about the fouls as well, I know a lot of players enhance the damage but I just wish that would stop, even if negatively impacted Arenas or anyone on the Wizards that tries to act hurt too. I just think it's a shame that pretty much all basketball is as much a game of acting and trying to draw the foul as it is shooting and rebounding and all the other basics.

Now I didn't watch basketball decades ago when men were actually men and didn't cry about getting a love tap on the arm, but I wish things were like that again. Basketball should be 5 men against 5 men, shooting baskets, rebounding hard, tough physical play but not overly out of bounds, instead of 5 egomaniacs going up against 5 other egomaniacs, and any time one of them gets touched they need to whine and cry until the refs see things their way, and that's why players such as LBJ shoot 20+ free throws a game.

basketball is totally different then it was 20 years ago. they actually ran plays, and guys could make jump shots. it really was a team game. now, its all about the superstar going one on one, and trying to make something happen. that's one reason i enjoy watching the wizards. their coach is old school. you can see them trying to run plays. and i was serious about what i said. lebron could be a d***head, like Scottie Pippen, or Shawn Kemp. but he choose to model himself after Jordan. i applaud him for that. he has been coddled for so long, it would be easy for him to have a massive ego, that he would keep tripping over.

I know...they all bitch they get fouled and they all bitch that they NEVER foul anyone. When I played b-ball I had to raise my hand when I fouled someone or I lose PT.

The game back in the 80's was by far the best. I miss those times.

LeBron had quite the flop into the stands today (under the basket today). It was pretty comical actually. I'm not of the belief that he does this regularly, but when he does it's pretty blatant. I mean he was losing his balance, but still it was peculiar.

Where'd you play ball jsarno?

Well, he was taught to "act", and the refs have rewarded him in the past, so why stop now? It's no different than Kobe, or Iverson.

Nothing big, just HS. I was too small to make it any farther. (5'10") Plus, I was more concerned with Football and Baseball in college, I didn't even try out in college. I did play for my fraternity, that was fun.

What about you?

Gotta love those intramural teams!

I played in numerous street / floor hockey leagues back in the day. I even tried to start a league out here and there is literally 0 interest.

That was far and away my best sport. Played in leagues up until about three years ago.

Anyhow, this Hornets vs Spurs game is great.

Yeah, it's looking good, but I am about 20 minutes behind you on it. I had to pause it and do some things, so right now it's 24-23 Spurs for me.

The C's looked good today huh?
