Exactly. And this hit isn't "allowing them to play" it's dangerous and dirty and exactly the kind of potentially life altering shot the the NFL claims it's trying to eliminate. To not even throw a flag here is completely inexcusable.

To me this is a clean hard hit and the defender seperates the ball from the wr. It's violent but just cause it's violent doesn't mean it's dirty.

that is a helmet to helmet hit, he put his head down and launched up. Dirty and unnecessary.

PS- The way the defender acted after the hit is inexcusable as well. Just that should get his ass a huge fine, just for being a fukkin jerk.

That gif doesn't show the best angle. From the back it looks clean. I can't copy the gif but

Why The Replacement Refs Are Horrible And Dangerous, In One GIF

has the view from the front and to me it looks a little incidental that the top of #29's helmet hits Hey-Bey's chin. Still unfortunate nevertheless and I'm glad he's okay.

This didn't get a flag either............out of control.

Im good with this one, no flag imo. I think the ref actually should have pulled a Smokey, stood over him and said "You got knocked the f*ck out!"

Shoulder pad hit the number, nothing wrong here. The defender is trying to tackle the runner. This is a good no call.

Not sure if serious. He's clearly leading with his helmet and coming up under his chin. Flag and fine.

Mechanix544 09-25-2012 11:57 AM

Re: Replacement refs: The story the NFL wants to keep quiet

You have to be kidding me, he leads with the helmet, makes no attempt to get low, and thrusts his helmet upwards under his chin, that is one of the most dangerous hits you can make in football, talk about defenseless. Running with a full head of steam, and having someone do that to you. just look at how his left arm reacts to the hit.

BTW, he got fined 35k for the hit I believe. So much for the clean hit theory. I do understand its a cowboy on the receiving end, lol, but that doesnt make it right.

Is it overboard to start hoping for Goodell's resignation?

RT Chris Kluwe ‏@ChrisWarcraft

Our strength coach just summed up last night perfectly. "You know we're in trouble when the end of MNF is more preposterous than WWE RAW."
