"La Canfora noted that Seattle might attempt to shop Winfield before releasing him."

The actual deadline is 6pm..I will believe it then. They would be foolish not to shop him

Perhaps the Skins should consider dropping Rex for Young?
Advantages?...Cousins/Rex may be done after this year,...trade/cut.
If we had Young...he'd be a good long term backup with the ability to run to match our scheme. Not sure this is an actual good idea..but it is fun to stir the pot.

I thought of that too and wouldn't mind it at all. At least bring him in for camp next season if he's available, and see what he could do.

Chico you are on the ball today. Murphy was a big surprise. Gumbs must have shown more behind the scenes but Gomes is not a big risk to roll the dice.

Think TJackson has any chance to return with any usable value? I'm leaning toward no but secondary choices are leaving me confused. Does Winfield offer any safety help??????

Well, NFL Network just said it as part of their hourly update, along with VY and Tebow news. Is that better?

And are you really using a JLC report to question an official list. I thought we all know JLC is not really that reliable at all.

Has a point, Murphy was kept as the cut player if we sign a free agent. Thats probably why we are risking Chase to PS. I still dont like it.

Chase didn't set the world on fire in the preseason games. My clearest memories of his play are of him getting beaten and flagged for pass interference.

I think that scenario is likely. I don't see how Murphy could have really made the team over Minnifield. Of the other players on that list, I think Briscoe, Burdette(as much as I like this guy), and Murphy will be cut. Hopefully, we sign Winfield.

I see Danny Watkins (Eagles 2011 1st round pick) was cut. Man, a first rounder cut after two years. A OL at that. Had to suck big time.

I don't think he sucked as much as it was injury issues. If I recall correctly he had issues staying on the field.

Keeping four QBs to me would be a joke...Even with the starter and the backup on the mend...makes no sense. Unless Kirk's injury is more than they are letting on.
