Re: Day 3 thread rounds 4-7
Guice broke a zillion tackle attempts in college. I'm not the least bit concerned about him.

He's also 20 years old! I didn't realize he was that young. |
Re: Day 3 thread rounds 4-7
Watching Guice highlights I was thinking the same thing. I love the pick, but it amazed me how often there was a huge lane for Guice that I could have made it halfway through. That said, I can't wait to see Scherff bulldozing a LB to clear the way for Guice.
This top ten video of Guice is fun to watch, but also shows those running lanes: [YT]hExFV4rygdTk[/YT] Watch the hit he puts on a defender at 3:30. The guy goes off his feet and flies backward.
Honestly you can say the same thing for any college RB regarding huge running lanes, especially against lower level competition |
Re: Day 3 thread rounds 4-7
Perine is the all time rusher in a game, stats are def overrated in college football. What stands out is the tape. We can look at these guys numbers all the time but what does Guice do when I free defender is coming his way? He generally lays the smack to them. I love that.

I agree. But I was wishing we could see those type lanes. :) |
Re: Day 3 thread rounds 4-7
Guice will rush for 1200 this year with 9 td’s.
