Re: NFL Draft Rounds 4-7
Will be interesting to see how the competition unfolds at WR this summer. Lots of players - who will emerge? I am concerned about the tackle spot. Unless Christian really develops, we are one injury to silverback away from being in a world of hurt. Losing Nsecke really hurt.
This guy is an animal, could be a steal, read this:
https://corner.bigblueinteractive.com/index.php?mode=2&thread=579222
Amazing vid. Pardon my French (got it?) if I don't use the appropriate technical words, but one thing I noticed is in the running game he switches from one guy to another with great timing and in the passing game he passes up stunts perfectly... something our line struggled to do last year. Harmon is a dog. I would have been happy for him in the 2nd. This is just an absolute fucking steal. This is like Montez Sweat level fired up based on pick vs. talent.

Re: NFL Draft Rounds 4-7
Bleacher Report:
173. Washington Redskins: Cole Holcomb, Linebacker, North Carolina Strengths: Range, zone coverage Weaknesses: Block-shedding, explosiveness Holcomb was a tackle muffin for the Tar Heels, recording over 100 in both 2016 and 2018 (and 93 in 2017). He blew up at his pro day, running a 4.48-second 40 with other exciting results. He’s rangy, active and alert, but he lacks pop when attacking the line of scrimmage. I like Holcomb: He looks comfortable playing in space and pursuing, and linebackers who can play in space and pursue stick around for years in the NFL. This is a great selection for the end of the fifth round. Grade: A |

A linebacker that can play in space and defend the pass. Yes sir. |
Re: NFL Draft Rounds 4-7
our wr room just got a bit more crowded. Is it a stretch to say Doc may not make the team??

I hope we can keep him. McLaurin, Richardson, Harmon, Quinn, Doctson, Sims. I think the 1st 4 are locks. If we only keep 5, will be interesting to see if Sims can bump Doctson off the team. |

Jimmy Moreland, the “other” cornerback at JMU, ended up as the CAA’s postseason defensive player of the year and an All-American. Moreland, a 5-foot-10 179-pounder from Royal Palm Beach, Fla., had five interceptions and returned three of them for touchdowns. The NFL draft starts Thursday and runs through Saturday. Moreland holds the JMU career record for interceptions (18) and interceptions returned for touchdowns (five). He also had nine breakups as a senior. Moreland was not invited to the NFL combine, but stood out in workouts prior to the East-West Shrine Game and the Senior Bowl. Nickel Corner type |
