KK is playing his cards right. Another gem of season here with JD and he will have teams falling over themselves to hire him. Plus as Ruhskins said he's being paid very well right now. No need to rush to move on.

Re: The annual NFL coaching carousel

Depends on his exact motivation. Getting a ring as priority, or simply being a successful HC. Wherever he goes now (NO really the only opening) he'd have to all but start from scratch, so at least 2-3 years away from a ring. He was 1 game away from the SB this year, so he's more likely to get to the big one here than with any other opening. Me, I'd want a SB ring then leverage that into a top HC job.

Re: The annual NFL coaching carousel

While we wait for the Saints to likely hire Kellen Moore after the Superbowl; here’s a look at the 25 hot seat.

Giants- Brian Daboll and his GM Joe Schoen are on the hottest seats. Given the nfc east has 2 playoff capable teams and 3, if Dallas bounces back; Giants are destined for a Top 5 pick again. 2025 is almost certainly their last year.

Panthers- Young finally showed some life after he came back from his benching. The Panthers should be better, as long as Young continues to improve. If he reverts, Tepper will ax Canales. Also, how much improvement does Tepper expect? They won’t be a playoff team in 25 but should be better. Will that keep Tepper happy.

Browns- Really depends what they do at QB. Do they draft a qb? Watson likely will miss time in 25 and he’s done. Do they take the pain and cut him now? Stefanski’s future depends on what they do. The Watson deal screws them over for 2 more years.

Steelers- No, Tomlin won’t be fired but eventually Rooney might decide it’s better to move on from Tomlin. A mutual parting could finally happen, if they don’t get a playoff win or Tomlin finally has a losing season.

Colts- Irsay maybe getting tired of Shane Steichen not making playoffs and Anthony Richardson is likely a bust.

Titans- Callahan was almost one and done. What they do at qb is vital. Do they run it with Will Levis, who’s likely a bust? Draft a QB with their #1 pick.

Bills- Another season not in the Superbowl and McDermott may finally be let go, especially if he loses to Chiefs in playoffs again.

Dolphins- McDaniel hasn’t done much. Yeah, he made playoffs his first 2 years but they were quick exits. He slipped to 8-9 in 24. They probably need a playoff win for him to return.

I listed 8 potential changes but doubtful it’s that high, probably on the low side for 25. Only one that seems a lock; is the Giants.

EB is Bears new RB coach. Bit of a come down from OC in KC and here. Wonder if he'll ever be an OC again.

EB is just a different guy, even though he sucked here I’m pulling for him to land on his feet. Chicago is a decent job for him, hoping it works out.

Same here, don't get the hate people have for him (or the obsession to see him fail).

Chip Kelly takes the OC job at Raiders. May be a good fit with the right QB

EB is a fraud. His last 2 years, showed he wasn’t a good OC and one those years was with us. Andy Reid ran that offense.

Re: The annual NFL coaching carousel

As expected, Saints are going with Eagles OC Kellen Moore.

Pats- Hire Former Titans coach, Mike Vrabel
Bears- Hire Lions OC Ben Johnson
Jets- Hire Lions DC Aaron Glenn
Jags- Hire Bucs OC Liam Coen
Raiders- Hire former Seahawks coach Pete Carroll
Cowboys- Hire OC Brian Schottenheimer
Saints- Hire Eagles OC Kellen Moore

Mike Vrabel should have Pats competitive again.
Ben Johnson likely to have most success.
Aaron Glenn likely to fail because it’s the Jets.
Liam Coen needs Trever Lawrence to rebound or he’ll fail.
Pete Carroll could set up the Raiders for his eventual successor, if Raiders get a QB.
Brian Shottenheimer will ultimately fail as Boys won’t get past divisional round.
Kellen Moore will fail with Saints.

Re: The annual NFL coaching carousel

Based on the moves the Steelers are making this offseason, it looks like they are trying to at least win a playoff game this year. I think Tomlin is on the hot seat. Despite him not ever having a losing season; he hasn’t won a playoff game since 2016. Steelers are tired of that and they can move off from Tomlin; if they fail to do that. Maybe not an outright firing; but pushed out or traded.

Re: The annual NFL coaching carousel

Training camp is in full swing. The last camp for many coaches.

Training Camp Hot Seat

Giants- Probably, the hottest seat out there. Daboll is likely dead man walking. If the Giants don't finish with at least 7-8 wins; showing some improvement. He's done. Especially, if Dart plays most of season.

Boys- Could Shotty Jr be one and done? If the Boys fail to make playoffs, Jerry may be desperate and make a change.

Panthers- Tepper expects improvement and build upon Young's late season performance after his benching. if Panthers don't improve, Canales could be done.

Cards- They expect at least a winning season, Gannon could be gone; if they don't achieve at least that.

Colts- Steichen might be done if Colts fail to make playofffs; especially with Irsay's daughters now owner.

Titans- If Cam Ward doesn't have a good rookie season, Titans may go with someone else.

Browns- If the Browns don't find a long term QB from their 2 rookies and have a decent finish with the veteran qb; Stefanski likely gets the boot.

Bengals- Taylor starts slow again and fails to make the playoffs, Brown might make a move. Though the Bengals problems are the owner's fault. Cheapstake is causing holdouts with Hendrickson, rookie Stewart. I can see Burrow asking to be traded in a couple of years, after this.

Steelers- If the Steelers fail to win a playoff game; there might be a parting of the ways. No Tomlin won't be fired but pushed out. It's probably time for a change.

Bills- Another playoff exit and Mcdermott might be relieved of duties with the owner figuring he can't get them over the hump.

Dolphins- Team most likely to collasp this year. McDaniels is likely getting the boot when the fish bottom out this year.
