[quote=punch it in;949937]The difference between our d having a good game and a real d having a good game is 31 points or so.

Does that real D have to be out there for 70+ offensive plays?

MTK 10-07-2012 03:56 PM

Can't blame the D today. The offense hasn't done enough.

Cousins is a good backup QB though. One bright spot.

So basically Ovi is going to lose his entire knee.

Lol. Thanks for summarizing overreaction central.

Anything can happen, it ain't over until there's no time on the clock.

Offense really looked out of sync early, save for Morris. RG3 with poor throws. Receivers with ill-timed drops. Win or lose, this isn't the way I expected the game to go today

MTK 10-07-2012 03:59 PM

Knew it. Cousins was staring shit down since he came in.

Game over. Still think Cousins is good. Still a backup. Hopefully RG3 is okay for next week.

There is only one obvious answer to our woes today...

D. Hall needs to be cut.

Oh well.. Good game. Im confident we can play with anyone now though

And yet we still hung tough with a top team. We shouldn't hang our heads after this one.

Defense has played well. Just on the field too long. 70+ plays. Good effort by team today.

Welcome to the NFL.. Where offensive players get paid to make offensive plays. Not going to hold teams to 10 points every week

So we get the ball back with no timeouts. Well. It could happen. Maybe?

Well, the D showed me something today I didn't think we had so that was good. There will be days like this with a young offense so that doesn't crush me either. I hope we can put it all together a few times this year to see what the future holds.

What? We should hang our heads after every single play. I'm starting next week's Game Thread with the first post "Game Over"

To summarize this game: we need RG3 to have a shot at winning. But I think we already knew that.
