Packers TE Jermichael Finley, due a $3 million roster bonus by 4 pm today, will remain in Green Bay and make $8.25 million this season.
8.25mil for Finley? Hell no. Has Green Bay lost their mind? I'd rather have Fred Davis than Finley.

No one is worried about the Cowboys anymore. No matter what they do, as long as Jerry is in charge, the Cowboys will be relegated to mediocrity. And don't forget to throw in OH NO Romo for a good December laugh.

you want to see a scary sight. look at the Cowboys 2014 cap. At over the cap.com they have it listed at 140M. Of course, as long as Jerrys drafting they will be the new Raiders, and I am fine with that.

From the article:

Barnes, 26, appeared in two games with Detroit last season after being acquired in a preseason trade from Washington. He didn't make the statsheet. Barnes has experience at safety, outside corner, and slot cornerback, but he's been a bust since the Redskins selected Barnes 80th overall in the 2009 draft

Yep. I remember when he was drafted i knew it was a crap selection. Bust was written all over him.
Oh Hail, you're a funny guy .
Yeah, I'm really too kind sometimes.

In 2012, Mara leading the charge to retroactively penalize a division rival $18 mil per year the next two years, out of a what $120 mil total cap per year? For contracts approved by the league in 2010. When the league admitted "no rules were broken"? That's cheating.

John Mara is like a child upset with how the game was going (Redskins/Cowboys getting better with cap help due to uncapped year), so he got the rules changed (the CBA amendment) to gain an advantage. When the Skins and cowboys had broken no rules themselves.

It's pretty cut and dried. John Mara cheated by unfairly handicapping two division rivals, and reinforced illegal collusion to boot. Collusion to nullify an uncapped year that the NFL and NFLPA had negotiated under the previous CBA in good faith. I should stop being funny and call it what it is. John Mara is slime.

Cleveland's O-line will actually be the best one he's ever had...solid line.

They wanted to bring in competition for their 30-year old sophomore QB. Should be interesting to see if JC can actually challenge him. It's possible, Weeden is not a clear #1.

Yes, Demaurice Smith is another slimeball. He sold out the players, by excusing NFL collusion, to keep his job. Do you dispute this?

The fact that he's weighing all these offers tells me he feels disrespected by the money we're offering him. I expect him to not sign back with us. We sign Winfield, giving us the flexibility and freedom to draft a TE with our 2nd rounder.
huge mistake going TE 2 or 3rd round. huge
Depends which players are available. If the good safeties/corners are gone why reach for one that won't have nearly the impact that Escobar might have. It all depends on who is available at the time. Don't do what the Patriots do with corners/safeties, because it obviously never works. Every other position they draft the best player available, yet they reach for corners and safeties and it fails miserably.

All depends who falls to the Skins.

If he wasnt a day one starter, way bigger mistake in 2nd round. You go with Paulsen and look at a vet and there are solid TE in the 4th, 5th round.

They are starters in the secondary in the 2nd and 3rd round. Yes, its that deep.

Starters yes, but the type of impact Escobar might potentially have would be greater than what might be available. It's not just about finding starters to fill needs, its about finding the best players and getting them on your team. If a player like Trufant, or Elam is available, I would go with them, because they are greater players than Escobar, but if its between Thomas from Syracuse, Alford or Escobar because everyone else was taken, I would go with Escobar.

Redskins can improve on pretty much every position except QB and RB.

They said his blocking is very coachable. He played at a small school so his coaching and competition isn't NFL caliber. Give him to our TEs coach and hell make him a good/better blocker. Plus Fred couldn't block so it's not a droppoff from what we had. Improvement in my eyes.
