Re: Prospects for Shanahans offense/Hasletts 3-4 D
Kemo's flexible enough if healthy, but probably won't be asked to do it. Montgomery, probably not, I'd say.
Are Kemo or Montgomery flexible enough to play DE in the 3 - 4?
I was wondering if we could have a front 3 of Godzilla, Montgomery and Kemo on running downs. That would be disgusting...
Dont forget about Golsten and Daniels, both of them play the run better than Monty. For some reason I think Golsten is going to do really well at end in 3-4 ish defense. LB is the only real issue I see. |
Re: Prospects for Shanahans offense/Hasletts 3-4 D
I doubt Monty plays much and won't be surprised if he's not on the team for the whole season. He really needs to step up to last...

Well other than Kemo and Haynesworth, do we have any other DTs? If not then I'm sure he'll stick around. |
Re: Prospects for Shanahans offense/Hasletts 3-4 D
A couple of teams have asked about Monty, so far we've said no
|
Re: Prospects for Shanahans offense/Hasletts 3-4 D
And we have Golston, and Daniels will slide inside on occasion

Any idea on what they've been willing to give up for Monty? Although, after Kemo, isn't Monty the only other player that has the ideal physique for a NT? |

any decent offers or do we just plan to straight up keep him? |
Re: Prospects for Shanahans offense/Hasletts 3-4 D
I don't know what the offers have been. The Rams and I think Bengals (?) were interested

Then maybe the Redskins will, come draft day, trade monty and other players and picks to St. Louis, maybe for Carriker, or maybe for their first, but something is up thats for sure. |

Horton said that he'd play weakside linebacker if needed

Ehh he was just replying to a question asked of him, didn't mention that it was likely, just that he'd do what they told him to. |

Lol, sorry I just wanted to say that and the Chris Horton revelation seemed like the perfect time. |
