Re: Off Season Griffin Man Crush thread
The way they show him moving in OTAs right now, (at the end of May) I don't see how he is not totally ready by the 1st of September. That's another 13 weeks from now. I mean he is so far ahead of schedule, it makes the old schedule of recovery from these type of injuries seem obsolete to me. Dr. Andrews has totally changed the recoverly timeframe for ACL/LCL for premier athletes. Maybe it would take you and me longer, but not an athlete whose total job every day has been recovery.

Griffin will be ready, but I'll be just fine with Cousins for game one. Heck, I'd be fine with Cousins if it's game one through four.

Well, let's see what he looks like after game one before we anoint him the starter for games two, three and four... |

If we don't anoint him, who else will start? Oh yeah, a certain Mr. Grossman. No thanks! I'll go with Cousins even if he throws 5 interceptions in Game 1. |

I can just imagine our next nightmare scenario. Griff starts the year on the PUP list, and Cousins has an average/mediocre first game. Hell hath no fury like Redskins fans getting pissed off at quarterback play. |

Cousins mediocre? A pox on you sir!! KC will lead this band of players to sunshine and happiness with some funky QB play. |
Re: Off Season Griffin Man Crush thread
Pat White will soon make us forget about RGIII. They say he is just a camp arm but such talk will cease after he leads us to 5 Super Bowls in a row!

Loved some of the quotes in the video:
"Maybe you haven't tried tackling Robert Griffin, but if you've ever chased an important piece of paper on a windy day, you know the feeling." "Find the Create-A-Player option in your favorite video game and max out every attribute. That's Griffin." |

As most expected, zone read here to stay. Why stop something that stresses the defense so much? Kyle says if the defense adjust, expect the offense to adjust with it. I think both RG3 and KC are going to be much improved in the offense and as the learn curve is lessen and Kyle expands the playbook. Excited to see what we add to the playbook and I think a receiver out the back field could be a major part in the growth of the offense. Whether its Helu or one of the 2 new guys. |

Even the....possibility of Robert running with it scares the crap out of defenses. And naturally does all kinds of nice "keeping the D honest" and at home. |

Re: Off Season Griffin Man Crush thread
this may sound like a joke but im 100% serious ..
every time i hear or get reminded of RG3 i get a flutterring sensation in my heart and butterflies in my stomach just visualizing and dreaming of his 1st regular season snap this season .. its weird. it makes me feel weird. am i alil gay? do i over-value sports? am i using sports to fill a major void in my life? i know my obsession w sports has always had a negative impact on my relationships and my fiance has voiced her displeasure many a times . . im just thankful that all us guys got together and agreed that we are going to heavily push the notion that guys compulsively obsessing over sports is 100% normal and that if one of our ladies did want to leave us her only option would just be other guys also obsessing about sports so she might as well just stick with us since she already put in years of work getting us to lift the toilet seat or not leaving dirty dishes in the basement .... with all that said, i think i am a sports addict. i even sit there and watch the keno horse races when i didnt make a bet. |
