Re: Set it all aside -- Training Camp Begins
listening to chris russell driving in to work this morning.
man that guy is bad. listened to him go on for 15 mins about how he was the only one saying the d jax signing was bad bc he is small and relies on speed and tends to get injured which takes away his speed element. the clincher for me turning the dial was when he said "i know a lot of redskins fans think he is going to be great a addition but i just dont see it working out that way .... given my track record and perspective, im right everytime" turned the dial, came back 15 mins later and he was still repeating his opinion of desean ad nauseum, saying he is just giving an honest and realistic opinion that is based on logic and reason .... to declare his contrarian opinion has been proven correct before desean has even taken a snap is unreal. |

Re: Set it all aside -- Training Camp Begins
tbh, if i played GM i did want the 10 mil to be spent on a Safety and RT bc we already had a lot of cap wrapped in WR and we signed roberts for speed but even i wouldnt declare my opinion right this early on.
he rubbed me the wrong way. ill text him about it. |

Also, it isn't like we gave DeSean Mike Wallace money. I say the 3 year deal with an option for a 4th was a great deal. Plus, like the Panthers showed, if you get to the QB doesn't matter who your safeties are for the most part. If Orakpo, Kerrigan, Hatcher, Murphy, and Cofield can get to the QB on a consistent basis, our secondary will get a lot of opportunities to make plays. |

To Chris Russell regarding DeSean Jackson: You don't look a gift horse in the mouth.

But because the skins signed dumbasses 10 years ago this somehow is related to these ignorant opinions. |
Re: Set it all aside -- Training Camp Begins
Went to camp this morning, the guys were going kinda light because of the game tomorrow and the long practice yesterday. Still class a experience, got some
Great picks, we got some hot ass chicks for fans, and Brady is a tall lanky douche. If you have kids, camp is perfect experience for them and your family. Skins go above and beyond for the children which gets overlooked. |
Re: Set it all aside -- Training Camp Begins
Tom Brady is a douche because he's tall and not fat?

DJax was small and relied on speed in Philly but still had 80 catches a year. |

Just looking at his numbers, how well he fits with the other pieces we have, and the fact that the Skins got him at a bargain price without giving up any players or picks are enough reasons for most people to conclude that the Skins made a good decision to sign him. Even if he doesn't succeed here for some reason, that won't necessarily mean that the decision to sign him was a bad one. |

Santana Moss has done that for 13 years now. |
Re: Set it all aside -- Training Camp Begins
Speaking of media types, here's yet another reason for Redskins fans to dislike Mike Wise:
"But, really, shouldn’t there be two or three standard answers when anyone from an NFL team in Washington is asked what they hope to get out of spending time with one from New England? 'Autographs.' 'Selfies with Bill and Tom.' 'The Patriots’ blessing.' Take a knee, children. Gather at the foot of the masters. This is what a perennially contending, multiple Super Bowl winner looks like. This is how to run an organization." I would like Mike Wise to take a knee and stop writing drivel about the Skins. |

He doesnt seem like the type who can sit back and just enjoy the competitive nature of the scrimage and get the chance to be up close with the team you pull for on Sunday. Just seems like a miserable person. |
