Re: Redskins pick 4th in the draft
Switching to the 3-4 creates needs on the defensive side of the ball, id love to see us land McClain to be the young leader of the defense but i know OT will be the priority heading into the draft.
That is why I hate the move of forcing a switch to 3-4, when our defense is fine. The defensive coaching was more the problem. Switching to 3-4 will create a lot more needs than we already have. Stick with the 4-3 base, but switch to 3-4 on occasion to throw off our opponents. Give them more to prepare for. Then draft lineman. Not much to ask. |
Re: Redskins pick 4th in the draft
Unlikely, dang it why does our Oline have to suck so bad :)
Couldve had Jr Ray Lewis -without the questionable past- |
Re: Redskins pick 4th in the draft
I still dont want to see us draft Oline all the way. Id like to think they sign some in FA.

Re: Redskins pick 4th in the draft
Knowing Shanny it could go
Bradford Best OT available or Okung QB prospect RB in the 4th. |

Re: Redskins pick 4th in the draft
Get Rabach outta here. draft or FA. idk
|
Re: Redskins pick 4th in the draft
I think the rams take Suh the lion take okung and the TB takes berry so I'd have to say the skins take Bradford

Rabach is actually one of the guys I'm interested to see in this system. |

Please explain Mrs. (Allison) Dubois :D No seriously though, I thought Bradford was the more likely guy to go to us at #4. Colt McCoy right now seems like the only guy that would be worth taking with the 5th pick in the 2nd round. Tony Pike doesn't seem like a Shanahan QB. Dan LeFevour on the other hand seems like he would fit here. |
Rabach is actually one of the guys I'm interested to see in this system.
Well, we've been running the system since 2008 and Rabach has been terrible. I don't believe he's been terrible in the system, necessarily, just in general.
I'm sure that Shanahan's offensive philosophy will change the way that some business is done up front, but the sweeping changes in the running game happened between 2007 and 2008. |
Re: Redskins pick 4th in the draft
I thought this was a nice read. You have to go to the bottom where he does "Bottom line #2." It's about Bradford.

Re: Redskins pick 4th in the draft
Smootsmack I thought you may want to hear about your John Skelton at the East West Shrine game practices.

Too premature to say this remember Jason Smith (I think) OT from Baylor went #2 overall before the combine & pro day he wasn't even a first round prospect. There be other studs that rise & i strongly believe some other overrated players will fall. |
