Ummm... the same way you know about everything else thats unspoken... observation and hush hush talks...you might want to look up what it means...
He said is an unspoken rule for a QB...... is he a QB? If he's not, and its unspoken, then how does anyone except a QB know about it? You might want to look up common sense.

Are you seriously arguing this for the sake of arguing, or are you just ignorant of a simple meaning?

A QB TRIES TO EXPLOIT A BLITZ. ITS A NATURAL REACTION FOR A QB.

Romo spoke of it as if Hall doesn't expect the natural reaction of a QB if Hall was to blitz.

Man I tell ya, the Cowboy and Giant posters in here are really having a hard time with a competitive Redskins team this season... Crazy arguments and assumptions.

Sports Science needs to do a piece on this.

"And here Deon Grant hits the deck at an amazing 5 mph. Grant only has a 6 second window where the refs aren't watching to complete his fall. That's the same amount of time it takes a domestic economy car to accelerate from 0 to 60. We brought Deon in to reenact his fall"

The only down side is that his article fired me up and it's 3 am. I should be sleeping.

Ehh, for the most part...lol

I just get a chuckle when someone says "It's an unspoken rule for a QB..." as if to present themselves as some kind of "insider" who is right there in the locker room or front office when in all probability they are not.

Unspoken rule - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Unspoken rules - are behavioral constraints imposed in organizations or societies that are not voiced or written down. They usually exist in unspoken and unwritten format because they form a part of the logical argument or course of action implied by tacit assumptions.

In this case if a QB is blitzed, the logical course of action will be to try and avoid or burn the blitzer. It does not take a "insider" to know this.

Also, just in case your not "in on it", the blitzer will go after the QB. Uh Oh, I Hope I didn't just give up our secret "insider" game plan...

If you stop talking now you can save yourself some sort of credibility.
