Luck needs to be in the Skins' equation come April.
Yeah it does, and in the coaching and the health of the players and just team chemistry alone you need to be lucky,it's why it's so hard to do.

Re: Official Super Bowl Thread
I was listening to the national radio feed on the way home from a SB party and was surprised to hear Coughlin and a few other Giants basically say that 2nd loss to the Skins really ticked them off and was the catalyst for their championship run.

That's the only silver lining that NYG won. They represent the NFC East. |
Re: Official Super Bowl Thread
Brady is on the downslide. He's still one of the best in the game but, considering how his last drive played out and the previous game it seems that he lost some mojo.

Brady sure didnt blow it on the last drive. The receivers that dropped 2 easy balls were the mojo killers. |
Re: Official Super Bowl Thread
I don't think Brady could have been asked to do much more than he did.

Re: Official Super Bowl Thread
Brady gave the Giants two points at the beginning of the game.
A morale boost it was not. That and the pick he threw were huge boo boos in that game. |

If that's Brady's downslide, then sign him to the Redskins! Can't help it when your receivers drop passes. |
Re: Official Super Bowl Thread
Too bad Gronkowski wasnt 100%.
It might have been a different game. |

Brady and Peyton , fighting it out in training camp to see who will lead the Skins to the promise land :) |
For me it's not so much where they were picked at, it's the "franchise qb" aspect of it. Brees was also a free agent too. I just believe that RG3 or Luck have the best odds at being that guy we want. Neither of them have real significant flaws that they have to fix in order to succeed in the pros.
Not to be picky, but Brees was a HUGE risk for any team given his shoulder injury. I honestly don't remember how much of a sure thing Brees was thought off when he became a free agent. Of course we all know how things turned out, but still. |

Peyton is on the downslide too but, still one of the best in the game. |
