if moss WANTS to play, he would be nasty at New Orleans. apparently it went pretty well[/quote] Yeah, Brees would be in contention to break his own record if Moss sticks in NO. Sproles, Ingram, Thomas form a nice trio, and Brees makes use of his complimentary receivers very well already. :FIREdevil |
Re: Around the NFL: 2012 Off-Season-Free Agency/Trades
Moss apparently ran a 4.3 40 at his workout...which is just insane

That's crazy for a guy his age. I guess it shows nothing can stop you if you work hard and stay determined. Sounds like he really wants back in, and I think he'll definitely get his chance. |

He's not human. |

Very nice trio but I'm guessing they lose atleast a WR who is a FA to someone. There are a few teams that are interested in all the FA WR's to include the Skins. I'm not saying we would sign all I'm saying we are probably looking at all and have a pecking order of WR's we would like to get and if we don't we're on to the next available WR. I don't think the Saints were to far off but losing GW means learning a new defense. Plus the Saints are not sitting far under the CAP. |

I like him but I consider him a good #2. |

Unless someone pisses in his cornflakes, at which point Moss will quit while still collecting a pay check. |

Now PFT is saying he didn't run a 40, contrary to reports out of New Orleans |

this means nothing considering how he played with NE/Minnesota/Tennessee his last year in the league and declined big time. Don't get all caught up in the measurables; Can he still play is the question you should be asking, which the answer is no. |
Re: Around the NFL: 2012 Off-Season-Free Agency/Trades
Can't believe people are buying into Moss, again.

I don't know weather to respect him or criticize him. I mean the guy runs one route. |

And as soon as things don't go his way, he shuts down. I wouldn't touch the guy. |

Which may have put him in the HOF. |
Re: Around the NFL: 2012 Off-Season-Free Agency/Trades
he's still one of the best ever, despite his issues, and he could definitely help us in the red zone with some size and hands. if its him at 2-3mill on a one year deal vs vjax at 10-12per... well, i'd take the chance on moss, and if he acts up, just cut him.
