I would love to see the Redskins get Amaro, it would be better than NE when they had Gronkowski, and Hernandez . In a 2 TE package they would have 4 great targets that would be hard to defense. Re: 2014 draft prospects Early edition
Redskins schedule workout with RB Marion Grice.... a great receiver as a running back, and close to 1,000 yds rushing with 14TDs and 6 TDs receiving

We have to go O or D line with that first pick. Don't care who falls to us. Strong trenches make the skilled players 1,000 times better. |
Re: 2014 draft prospects Early edition
Joe Flacco and Nick Foles are proof...

I generally agree, I would only say that if a solid RT is there, then we need a Safety at 34. I don't see us doing much on the DL early. |
Re: 2014 draft prospects Early edition
Best safety prospect I've seen so far- Deone Bucannon, Washington State. If he gets drafted in the third, this would possibly be steal of the draft considering the current value of the position.

Great write up here on Morgan Moses, OT, Virginia who would be a great bookend to Williams. |

I'm a huge fan of Bucannon as well. Getting him in the 3rd would be superb value. He's more of a SS than FS, and we already have Meriweather and Thomas there, but if he's the BPA in the 3rd, that'd be hard to pass up. However, his limited flexibility and poor awareness and reaction time in coverage are measured shortcomings. [/quote] |

Hey, that wouldn't be all bad...for a 3rd rounder, anyway. If he didn't bring the injury baggage that Landry had, would you be satisfied if we drafted Bucannon in the 3rd, and he turned out to have Landry's game? I certainly would. |
Re: 2014 draft prospects Early edition
landry got burnt an awful lot here. he played better for other people.

Re: 2014 draft prospects Early edition
I think Bucannon's much better in coverage than cbs sports gives him credit for- 6 interceptions in 2013 is better than the safeties rated above him. Before that 2012- 4 interceptions and 2011- 3 ints. 4.49 In the 40 tops all of them too.
