The tag can be useful as a bargaining tool, as it sets a minimum price for a QB contract. This happens for every player who gets tagged.

That being said, Cousins was extremely lucky he didn't get hurt the two years he was tagged.

Cowboys made the same mistake we did with Kirk. They should have re-signed him at least a year ago. The closer they get to free agency the price just keeps going up and up.

Especially since they've been giving other players a lot of money (Zeke, Amari, etc., etc.).

I have no beef with Norman. Didn't live up to the contract. But he had a couple pretty good seasons. And he handled things well. Didn't cause any problems.

And he's in the AFC. I hope he does have a good year.

+1 on your thoughts. He could have been much more of a locker room distraction, but in the end he just lost a step. If he has a resurgence with the Bills good for him.
