I have put in this summer between home and auto A/C repairs around $2k.
A/C is such such a fragile “necessity “ that depends on so many moving parts to keep it going, it’s flipping annoying.
Really nothing worse than car/truck issues, outside of an std. |

Re: What REALLY grinds your gears?
Anyone else going to a picnic starting at 1:30 pm on Sunday, September 12th for their MIL birthday?
Yeah .. fun times. Sitting at the dinner table a few weeks ago, my lady said "I have something to tell you and I dont know how ..". I make a few jokes like "youre actually a dude post transition?" or "youre a secret spy?" ... I could see it was serious. I said "Its not about Sunday September 12th is it? You didnt sign us up for anything on the first game of the fucking season?" After a few seconds I realized, you cant get out of this so theres no need to get mad or pout because then you dont get credit .. so I said, after a bit .. I dont think my lady or daughter took a breath while I processed what she told me, everything was super quiet and no one moved ... I said 'Its cool. What can you do?" |

I talk a lot and have social expectations so kinda tuning out isnt an option. besides I want to immerse myself in the glory of week 1. I did the math, I should be home by no later than 5:30. take 30 mins to handle any loose family obligations and prep time .. 6 pm I should be on couch, cold beer in hand. goal is to start the SNF game by 9 ish. |
Re: What REALLY grinds your gears?
I just watched a co worker put peanut butter on a biscuit
Even tho on Skype…I had to have a one on one afterwards. I don’t care what you do behind closed doors, but you do shit like this, it’s bad optics. Butter on a hot biscuit…if you are old or foreign, maybe jam or something. But you don’t put peanut on a hot biscuit. The biscuits are a vehicles created to bring happiness in the morning…they should be delivering a protein cooked in fat…pork, chicken, steak. Cheese is always advised. Then eggs…anyway you like..stacked on top. Biscuits should always have salted butter. Are we clear? |
Re: What REALLY grinds your gears?
I dunno man PB on just about anything is pretty amazing including a hot biscuit.
|
Re: What REALLY grinds your gears?
Don’t get me wrong, I’m pro peanut butter…but on a hot biscuit is a bridge too far. And to be fair cold biscuits don’t exist. I never seen one, let alone tasted one. Biscuit by design are always warm/hot.
If you want to go gravy…then fuck yes. All day, errr day. But peanut butter? |
Re: What REALLY grinds your gears?
When the PB starts to melt... fuck yeah I'll slap PB on a biscuit

Me too. All this talking a little it, that's what I want for breakfast now. |
Re: What REALLY grinds your gears?
You are not maximizing your biscuit delivery system. Fat , protein, cheese, egg, gravy, etc. and then coffee goes great with it.
Guys I’m just gonna sit back and watch the world burn |
Re: What REALLY grinds your gears?
I'm going to the grocery store tonight and getting some biscuits lol. I will have a peanut butter biscuit in my mouthhole by tomorrow night.

Can't wait to have biscuits and peanut butter tomorrow, with nothing else. Hot, gooey PB, on a warm biscuit is gonna be so money.
