Yea him and Kerrigan I feel do the same move and it makes it look they are being held from a distance.

Orakpo and Kerrigan show up more or less every week. They're the two best players on the defense. The inconsistent pass rush is frustrating, but all I can say is be careful what you wish for...you just might get it.
So your fix is to do what exactly? Burn through the entire defense, change the whole coaching staff, and do all this without a number one draft pick this offseason? Wow, sounds like a plan to me!
Not having a number 1 draft pick is certainly an issue, as is treating the Ferrari (i.e. RG3) like a demolition derby car, in particular after giving up all of the picks to obtain RG3's draft rights. So who's responsibility is it to be a good steward of the team, who is supposed to be the adult in the room? Why that would be Mike Shanahan, so yes after four years and a .420ish win percentage it is time to make change.

The team needs a culture change, who, or how that is going to be made I don't know, if I knew, I'd probably be a head coach. We have seen basically the same product for almost two decades now. Undisciplined play as evidenced by penchant for 15yd unsportsmanlike or unnecessary roughness penalties, costly gaffes, losing to 'inferior teams' and so forth. Not to mention the perennial issue of not having a pass rush.

So yeah, count me in on the blow up the coaching staff and start over bandwagon.
Where are you getting your depth charts? I was on ESPN earlier and it looked different than this. Not saying you are wrong just curious. Also I am talking about 1st string players not who they have to start due to injury. I said earlier you use free agents to fill holes. The Pats situation right now with all their injuries is a perfect example of that.
doesn't it depend on a team's stage of development? for example we brought in several FA CB's because we were drafting youth on offensive skill players, and defensive front 7. So now we have CB/S youth backing up CB/S FA's and I would say when the youth is learning we could have easily gone out and gotten a better 2nd CB given the market, and we would have lost Hall if he didn't find the market so soft, if the penalty was not in place. Also probably could have gotten a Safety other than concussion producing Merriweather, but don't remember what the FA safety market looked like. Same can be said for our OL talent such as it is. We drafted some OL, but got FA's in order to have a line that could perform "adequately", and we spent one high draft pick on the most important OL position. Now we try to draft the youth that can learn from the FA's and one day replace them.

New England on the other hand is an established team and they are in a different part of the cycle.

Team sites.

I know the depth charts aren't 100% accurate and of course injuries play in, but I don't think it's accurate to say the Skins starters are mostly free agents.

To help those of us who are unclear on this kind of thing: what part of the plan are we in right now? Asking for a friend.

We have blown 3 double digit leads in the second half this season. Defense really needs some help this offseason. Middle Linebacker preferably.

Also, finding a punter who can accomplish kickoffs would be great.

Fletcher had 2 tackles no assists yesterday.

Glad your math skills are better then your humility, but I would say most reasonable people set the guidepost at 5 so that would be 4/5ths.

My apologies for striking that nerve. Wasn't intentional.
He's made that play several times
I dont know, maybe he has,I cant remember all his td catches.I do know I will never like that call,I dont like the fade to begin with, and I cant stand it even more on 4th down to the shortest guy on the field.
The fade is probably the hardest throw to make,as summo said its got to be perfect, and its got to be one of the harder passes to catch also, its always over the shoulder with a defender in your face and trying to keep your feet in bounds. Why call a play that is probably the hardest play in football to execute?

During the game I was positive Morgan was hit early on the punt he fumbled,I've blown it up and slowed it down and its too close to call,I still cant believe a flag wasnt thrown, you know damn well if it was the other way around we would have been flagged.
It looks to me like Morgan for sure would have been hit on his right leg before the ball gets there but he starts moving it out of the way as the guy goes to tackle him,and I think he might have been hit on that leg early anyway
