That says it all..Right on!! |

Eh, that's maybe half the story. Maybe more like a quarter though. RG hit wide open WRs who flat out dropped the ball. DJax in the first few minutes of the sf game, would have given us 1st and goal at least. None of the offense has been sharp, that's a fact jack. Grudens on his third QB now, supposedly his fav. No more excuses now, if Grudens offense doesn't look well prepared now all eyes will be on him. Deservedly. |

That wasn't a drop. He just didn't make a pro bowl catch on that one play. It is silly to look at the passing box score and and single out that play. It is just as silly to say if Colt doesn't set passing records then Gruden has to go. What the heck should the expectations for a third string journeyman qb be? If he is able to read the right side of the field and target open receivers consistently he is way ahead of RG3. The reality is that the 3rd string journeyman qb gives us the best chance to win. That is a sad realization. First time I've heard the argument that Rg3 needs weapons to catch the ball. Having to settle for the likes of Garcon and Jackson has ended his career. Geez! |
Re: McCoy to Start Against Indy
How WIDE open were they though? We dont have a WR over 6 foot.
No doubt he was missing wrs open but.. Alot easier said than done. |
Re: McCoy to Start Against Indy
Not for one second is it ALL on RGIII. look at Sanchez he is playing very good under a new system..Most likely RGIII is not cut out to run Grudens offense scheme..RGIII might do well in Chip Kelly's offense ..but we have Gruden .. that begs the question was Gruden the right hire to give RGIII the chance at success? looks to me like Kyle had Robert pegged on what he did best. Maybe Gruden was not the right choice to build a system around RGIII .If the skins had hired Art Briles as head coach I wonder how RGIII would be playing? You would think that after giving up the future for Robert that the FO would have enough insight to pick a coach that could work with RGIII..it really seems that Gruden has never bought into the RGIII deal ..its sad..

The point is Grudens offense hasn't looked sharp, regardless of who's under center. We're all hoping that changes. |

I gotta agree with some of this. Why after all the investment in our QB of the future did we hire a coach who wants him to stand in the pocket? What is this franchise doing exactly. Except consistently putting together a losing team |

Re: McCoy to Start Against Indy
I'm assuming you are talking about the pass on 2nd and 13 with 9:13 left in the 1st quarter.
Griffin threw the ball from his 34 and it hit Djax at the 49er 9 yard line. The ball traveled 57 yards in the air. Jackson was looking the ball in and seemed to adjust significantly while running. He slowed down. Griffin forced it into two deep coverage and the safety was directly in front of Jackson and actually bumped Jackson a split second before the ball got there while running at full speed and adjusting to the ball. Jackson did get his hands on it. In my humble opinion, I don't count that a drop under those circumstances. I also dont count that play as basic at all. I can see however how you would disagree while defending Griffin. I believe that Jackson's play making ability has spoiled us as fans. We expect him to make exceptional plays every play. He is an exceptional player. |
Re: McCoy to Start Against Indy
It was a bad throw into double coverage.. Sorry djax didn't amaze u.

Talking about these MISSED CHANCES
Robert Griffin III missed chances - Hail 22 Plenty more on that site to see. There is another play he ran that had 5... I'm not joking... 5 WR'S OPEN.. ALL FUCKING 5 WR'S open on the play and didn't hit anyone. Just rolled out and threw the ball away like he was blind folded. He's not helping this offense right now period. He shouldn't be playing. |

He needs to lead D Jax toward the sideline outside the numbers. Instead, he threw it to the inside of the numbers. Making it easy for the safety to play both routes. |
