Please tell me how could he respond in that press conference without throwing someone under the bus? DC media is overly aggressive. IMO.

I think he was expecting more questions about Haslett. He was thrown off by only one question on it.

Admittedly I'm biased but why blame the media?

Instead he was peppered with questions that amounted to, "Why are you still employed?" Tough to respond to them.

Someone tell this turd he owes his success, especially in broadcasting to the Redskins.

I hate Lavar so much. Suddenly his knee problem and inability to learn the playbook were the Redskins fault.

Yeah I'm gonna actually not blame the media (a first right?) and think that performance of avoidance was was the worst thing I've seen from bruce. I really think they (fo) don't get it. I think it ends next year with half full stadium, bruce and Jay grtting the boot.

Now, that's what I call winning off the field.

After listening to most of BA's press conference today and his avoidance of most of the questions (admittedly some tough ones, like the "why are you still employed" paraphrasing) I am starting to agree. He said they will look at the whole process, yet I'm like, who's going to look at the guys looking at the whole process? Because BA has had 5 years, who the hell is evaluating him and saying,"gee I feel confident that this guy is still in charge of football operations" after the season we just had.

Jay will get another pass because I'm not a believer in giving a head coach 1 year, but if we're still terrible next year it's time to hold a fire sale. Doug Williams (forgive me for speaking ill of one of our on-field glory boys) still hasn't shown me anything that says he's doing a good job here either. I don't see how we retain Bruce Allen at this point. The only thing I'm grateful for him is how he's tried to embrace our history, and reconnect our past heroes with current ownership. But his current football evaluation skills leave a lot to be desired.

Keeping him and letting Antonio Pearce walk were the Redskins fault. Lavar has been in the long procession of players that Dan has fallen head over heels for.

Yeah I didn't get that comment. Totally out of place, nobody cares.
