The Giants are more lucky than good. I've been saying that all along. That win in Green Bay was a fluke. That win in SF was because of two miraculous special teams turnovers. I will never root for a division rival ever unless it has playoff implications for my Redskins.
Old school when your team was out of the playoffs you cheered for your division to win the SB who ever it was. I have no problem rooting for the Giants but I could not cheer for the Cowboys or Eagles.

Guess she forgot about her husband getting a safety with a intentional grounding. Guess she forgot about her husband throwing a INT. Guess she forgot that her husband threw the ball behind the receivers a few times.

Does anybody blame Tom Brady for anything? Jesus h titty ****ing christ it's sickening.

OOOOo........Tom didn't win b/c X person did this or Y person did that.

Yeeeaaahh...Tom won the game even though it was the kicker that actually won it.

It's his wife. It's after the game, everyones emotions are running high and she's getting heckled. All of the so called experts said that he missed some throws so who really cares what his wife thinks.

Totally disagree with this. But if people are looking for someone who blames Brady...
I don't think Brees was a huge risk at all in FA. The only reason I didn't advocate signing him was because we had just drafted JC and we all thought of him as the qb of the future. If we hadn't drafted JC I'dve been all over Brees. And the huge risk thing is overrated. Yeah, he had hurt his shoulder. But it wasn't even being talked about as something that could end his career or keep him out long term. The injury was a short term concern.
Lets say Brees came here. He wouldn't be the QB he's become. Not here, not under this organization. He got with the perfect coach and a stable front office. People may not remember this but back in 04, Kurt Warner was out there. Instead the Redskins and Jow Gibbs decided to go with a past his prime Mark Brunell.

A little harsh but that comes with the territory. Brady did his part in contributing to the loss. But to be honest, Gronk was one on one with a d-linemen. You'd expect to make that play or at least not let the guy catch it.

quite simply one of the worst articles ive ever read...made very little sense with little support. I guess anybody can write on the internet these days.

I like the one line "well if welker woulda caught that you woulda been in the clear..." Yeah i guess so.

He was enough of a risk that only two teams showed strong interest in him. He tore up his shoulder pretty bad if I recall. He was no lock to return to his former self.

In my book when you look like this you can say anything you want because I'm not listening to what your saying anyways.

I remember the Dolphins auditioned Brees and Daunte Culpepper to determine who was going to lead the franchise for the next however many years. They determined Culpepper was the better option. Just goes to show how one big whiff at the QB position can set you back for years and years. And on the flip side, how one homerun at QB can make you a perennial playoff team. I want a homerun oh so badly.

On top of that, his "former self" had not been exactly tearing it up like he is now. His first three years were mediocre at best. Followed by two very good years (~65% completion each year, 3100 & 3500 yrds, 27 & 24TD's) - but even his two best years in SD don't compare to what he has turned in at NO (last three years he is averaging around 70% completions, 4500 yards & 35 TD's).

These last three years he has been a machine. Given his injury and the entirety of his playing history to that point, no one could have seen what was coming.
